Women scheduling doctors' appointments for husbands is a thing in our house. And health things are the one area where I borderline nag my husband to go to see the doctor. Good thing though, he was diagnosed with late stage 2 testicular cancer in May when I insisted he go to the doctor about an issue he was having. Turns out it was unrelated, and the cancer was an incidental finding, but I'm still very thankful we found it when we did, and he is now cancer free 6 months later.

God has been calling me too to turn to Him as my Divine Physician for everything! I've had glasses since 2nd grade and am 33 now. I just got my book on the Bates Method for healing my eyes last week. Working on our teeth health also! God speaks to His people ❤ I think he's calling us out of Sodom and teaching us to rely on us. He didn't make us to be sickly all the time.

To your point about women helping their husbands with their health- for the past few months I’ve been handing my husband a vitamin and a glass of water each night when I take my own vitamin. Previously I would buy him vitamins but he did not keep up with taking them on his own. He hasn’t gotten sick in months, his skin, hair and beard are beautiful, and his overall health is better. There are so many things that we could be a little bit more helpful with that would benefit our husbands, families, and households! I’ve been letting go of the “he’s an adult he needs to do it himself” mindset and it has been a great blessing ☺️

The vision improvements are really cool! Thanks for sharing! My vision is pretty bad…I got my first glasses in second grade. It’d be amazing to get some healing. I remember the first time I opened my eyes under water without contacts on and realized the water corrects my vision 😄 it is so cool, the water acts as a lens.

I wonder, too, if the way you eat (animal fats/protein) helps with your teeth. Weston A Price actually found in his research that cultures that ate traditional foods had better teeth.

I have Sgrojen’s (an autoimmune disease) and it affects my eyes, causing dry eyes, inflammation & blurry vision. I refuse to use eye drops for the dry eyes because of the chemicals put into them. So I started applying castor oil on my eye lids before bed and it seems to be helping. I also will get a washcloth wet with very warm to hot water & cover my eyes until it’s not warm anymore, so just a few minutes, whenever my eyes feel dry. It helps put moisture back into my eyes & reduces the inflammation & ultimately my blurry vision. I told my eye doctor about what I was doing & he agreed with this method & explained further about why this method works & told me to keep doing it. What we eat definitely plays a role as well. Glad to hear the castor oil is helping someone else too! I’ve only been doing it a short time but I plan to make it part of my regular routine from now on. 🙂

@@crystalm9754 I've had Sjogrens about 20 years now, so I can relate, and find your comment about castor oil interesting. Sjogrens has gradually debilitated a lot of my body, but I'm grounding as much as possible now, and trying harder to get that 1st sunrise light into my eyes, without my eyeglasses. It actually feels so good on my eyes. Letting God be our physician as much as possible. He cares for us, and knows what is best for us. Thanks for your helpful info. God bless. 🙏

A natural dentist recommended to ‘clean’ the water pick machine by occasionally adding grapefruit seed oil to the water and run it through…it helps prevent bad bacteria from breeding in the tube.

I had zero cavities until the fentist told me to use a water pick. I bought a really good expensive one and used it as well as my husband and daughter. After 6 months i tried regular flossing after using the water and there was a ton of old smelly gunk that came out! So i told my husband and daughter to use the floss picks and it was the same for them too. I ended up with 9 cavities in between my teeth 😢 so sadly the water pick doesnt work for everyone. But im glad it worked for you! I have heard that the eye and sun exposure has helped many people! So you arent crazy!

I just talked to my hygienist about what it would look like to get it removed! I don't have symptoms of heavy metal toxicity- that I know of, but I've been contemplating getting it removed for that reason. If you don't mind me asking, did you end up getting a plastic retainer for nighttime or are you hoping they don't move?

I have gone without my glasses quite a bit in the past few years due to crying a lot from grief, having watery allergy eyes and lots of sinus allergy issues. I stop wearing contacts due to the watery itchy eyes and then found myself not wearing my glasses as much (like you I NEED them) and found I could putter around the house without them for a while on the daily. However, when I went into have my eyes checked I was surprised that instead of getting worse (one was 3.75 and the other 3.5) they were both 3.5 after not being checked in a year or two. I was really surprised that they stayed the same and one eye was better. I will try the sunlight you mentioned. I have tried some, but my sister has been a huge proponent and now that I know it can help with my eyes too that's more motivation for it! My daughter also just got glasses at the age of 9 and the dr warned me her eyes were going to end up quite bad like her dads who got laser surgery. I will keep you updated if I see a different in my eyes or hers! Also thanks for dental tips! I had a ton of cavities after my last pregnancy where I had terrible sinus issues and could only breathe through my mouth. TOTALLY agree on the brushing first thing in the morning that has greatly helped my sinus throat issues because those bacterias don't help your throat either!

My husband got his eye lasered last year and is absolutly happy. It is affordable, at least in Germany not like 10/15years ago. I never heard about the water pick, this is exactly what I need after one of my backteeth broke off on Christmas eve after flossing it so often. :( Thank you so much for all the good advices. ♡

It was also so encouraging to hear about what you've experienced regarding eye health and sunlight. I live in a valley-like area as well, and I was concerned it be might detrimental to the practice, and I'm so glad to hear that wasn't the case for you!

I started oil pulling back in 2016.. did it consistently for a while and stopped. I’ve been drinking energy drinks since I was 17 and I was a smoker for probably close to 4-5 years. I’m not addicted to energy drinks anymore but still have them more than I would prefer and have switched to some better options… however I will say I think the oil pulling seriously protected my teeth when I used to smoke and was still using fluoride toothpaste. I’ve started doing it again as I got a cavity filled during my last pregnancy wich still gives me pain at times unfortunately. It wasn’t u til the last few years when I learned about pulling teeth and actually getting fillings does more harm than good. So now I’m seriously trying to watch the sugars and oil pull and use a more natural essential oil based mouthwash and fluoride free when I can. I also do my best to avoid seed oils while cooking for me personally and my kids… unfortunately my husband is a trained chef and doesn’t really care so he fries a lot of food with vegetable , canola oil , whatever we have etc. I try to do half and half when I can lol. I could really spare some prayers too as my husband isn’t walking the same faith walk as I am currently. I wish he would research and take the families health into consideration with what he likes to cook with.

Yes, you definitely want to rinse after oil pulling. You don’t want to leave anything pulled in your mouth. That’s what my biological dentist said. Kelly, my vision has improved too from sunlight exposure, and increased retinol in my diet. Another tip you might think about employing us a castor oil eye mask at bed time.

My three kids had dentist appointments today!! How timely, these are great tips!! I'm wondering if the water pik will work on my kids!! I do floss all three of their teeth regularly, and it's a lot of work, but it really helps, I'm going to get a water pik and try it on them! I also use hydroxyapatite toothpaste on our teeth, its naturally remineralizing and really helps reverse cavities, I give my kids oral probiotics as well, but they're pretty expensive, Im going to try brushing their teeth earlier in the motning, right when they wake up, I'll let them do it in the morning! Also, I've heard about the sunlight with vision before, we're also in a dark valley and inside a lot in the winter, but im going to pay attention to that and give it a try. Thanks for the great advice!

@homewithkelli Oh, thank you!! That's a great idea!! I was just looking at water piks for kids this morning, I think I would still floss sometimes and use a floss pik in between regualr flossings. I have really done a lot of research on natural cavity prevention and oral health for kids, I reversed my 4 year olds 4 cavities, the dentist wanted to sedate him and fill them, but I was able to completely reverse them! I also switched dentists, so I'm not 100% sure they were even full cavities at that point, but I still learned a lot and found a better dentist.

I have heard this about vision too, but I have not put it into a lot of practice, I have tried it and it does help some temporarily, so I would say doing it regularly might have some longer healing effect. This is great to know. I will be doing this more regularly. That is wonderful for you to receive some healing for it. Also, I recently heard that using castor oil rather than coconut oil for oil pulling is better for you than even the coconut oil. That may be something you want to look into as well, I have also started using this on my dogs skin and they are really showing some good improvements from it. I have heard that it will clear up a dogs cataract and I do have a 15 yrs old dog that I may try to use it on and see if it helps him. I do not like to do anything to him to traumatize him, so I go easy with him as he is very nervous the older he gets.

Another comment! I also unfortunately get tonsil stones from scaring from bad drug/smoking habits whilst young hallelujah I’ve been set free anywayyysss if you have tonsil stones oil pulling helps with bad breathe So MUCH there’s a couple different documentaries I’ve watched on KZbin About the oil pulling etc. I also have not the best vision my friend and have prayed for this too.. I will say.. my eyes have not changed for the worst. However I’ve noticed when I eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies it seems to get better for a span of a few months etc. I’ve heard that about the sun too but I think MOST of it has to do with vitamins etc there others documentaries and stuff too and dra research of supplements ppl are using to heal their eyes. But ultimately if ABBA our father wants to heal our eyes he will. My mother who had TRI focals whilst younger and wore them consistently can NOW see in her old age far away!!! Her doctor said sometimes it just happens in old age but I believe it was our Heavenly Father

We live in the woods, so in the winter the sun doesn't come over the treetops until 9ish, so I work with that. I would prefer the sunrise hours, that's what I did at our old house, but now with where we live, it's just whenever the sun comes over the trees into our yard. So, I'd say whenever in the morning it works for you!
