Watching you tidy your home gave me a sense of calm and peace. A snow day was always enjoyed when the children were in the house. Suzanne, there's nothing better than a good old-fashioned Christmas with all the kids home. Mine was a bust this year because of health issues in the family members including me. There's always family dinner every Sunday that makes up for the lost holiday dinner this year. We are in the midst of a misty rain drizzle that promises snow overnight, but we will see. The ground temperature is 40 degrees so even if the two inches does happen it will just be a sloppy, messy nuisance snow. We have had a very mild Winter so far compared to what it's supposed to be. Your home always looks so clean and fresh. Mine .... not so much. But then house cleaning was never taught to me. My domain was always outside the house with yard work, taking out the trash, burning in the burn barrel (does anyone even have one anymore), working on cars in my teen years. I haven't learned to clean when it doesn't look dirty just yet but I'm getting better. It's a real learning curve for me. Love the vacuum. Have a very Happy New Year. I usually just stay home and enjoy the fireworks that take place around my neighborhood. Nebraska Dave Urban Farmer

Hi Dave, It’s funny how we always seem to have such similar weather. It has been the warmest year yet, with snowfalls that melt into a soupy mess! I am longing for more snow. But I suppose I will be content if it doesn’t happen. I’m glad you are back on your feet for the new year! We were supposed to go do our annual card game night with my brother and sister in law, but they are sick. We will have a game night at home I guess. Not nearly as fun though. Yes, those are my favourite. Sometimes (on a rare occasion) I let my kids stay home on a snowed-in day, so we can snuggle up and just share a cozy day together ❤️

I agree about the Christmas baking. My daughter and I make candy to give to our coworkers and family. I prefer not to have to much left at home for us. I love cooking but so many times we are rushed. It sort of takes the joy out of it.

How lovely to have all the baby chicks home! I meant to leave this comment in your last video but I forgot. I wanted to say how Tasha's little trick about swirling the garlic and oil saved my sauce that very day I watched the video. I accidently got my oil too hot when I added the garlic I knew it was gonna burn and so instantly i took hold of the saucepan and just swirled until it settled down and I had NO burnt garlic. 🙂 Thanks, Tasha!

Thank you, that is a great tip. She also looks really good with a dress that has the empire waist, but then a short flared skirt. Very flattering! One advantage of her body shape is that she actually has a perfect hourglass figure! I took her measurements and found that out. I told her many woman would kill for an hourglass shape (and many have surgery to get it 😂) lol
