Be careful with nut reactions...you can go from breaking out....to throat swelling shut! I keep benadryl in my purse, just to help with swelling, if I have a food reaction because I had a peanut allergy occur in my 40s!

I know this isn't the focus of any vlog, but I just noticed how your hair has grown out from the short haircut you had gotten a while back... and your hair looks so healthy, shiny, and long. It looks just lovely! I appreciate these types of vlogs where you just share what you are preparing for meals that day and how they turned out. I enjoy your commentary on random things & thoughts about life in general. Hello! Sometimes I wonder how you are able to do so much, for yourself and your family. I work and my time off is never enough… always exhausted, never feeling refreshed. Any tips? I’m sure we would all love a video on self care ideas that are simple and not required a lot of $ to do. Also, I grow peonies and wanted to let you know next year your bushes will be even bigger, probably double the size. You may also want to look into a peony cage- once the flower bulbs start getting bigger they get heavier and hang, may cause the branch to snap of no support. Also, do not worry about the ants on the bulbs- they will not hurt them, just part of the blooming process. Thank you for all you do! Love your videos and your simplicity inspires me! Thank you for the peony tips! We do have cages around them now but I agree, we may need the larger size. As far as personal time, I’ve definitely cut back on the time wasters in my life, like Instagram or mindless tv as well as excess “stuff” in the house that has to be picked up, cleaned, or maintained. We have a flow to our days and it’s more apparent when things aren’t going with the flow or causing tension so I either remove them or have to adapt what I’m doing, if that makes sense. I don’t work outside the home but if I did (and when I did) I did prepare meals or parts of meals ahead of time to make dinner easier/less clean up. I also have always kept KZbin as my creative outlet/passion project and truly it has brought me so much joy and something that’s “mine” and I definitely encourage moms to have something like that, a hobby or something you truly enjoy. YT also definitely encourages me to get things done efficiently and beautifully since I’m able to share it ☺️ Also! A good evening routine is a big deal for me, having the kitchen cleaned and put to bed ready for me when I wake up, the toys put back in the kids’ rooms so the living room is tidy, having a beauty routine and nice pajamas and a good book to end the day with is a simple daily joy that fills me up. I could go on, but I hope that helps. You’re doing the best job in the world being a mom, be blessed! 💞

My job is crazy busy, my home is crazy busy and very rarely I have time for myself. I did buy some pajamas! @@lemaryscrittenden7821 I would recommend watching - on KZbin, The Minimal Mom... she has some great tips, for simplifying one's HomeLife. She is also a busy mom of 4, and has great ideas... I am not a Minimalist..but one can certainly takeaway, some good ideas. Not sure if you have children, or the ages...but if/when old enough...make sure they each have a chore list, one for every day (making their beds, putting their dishes in the dishwasher)...then one for weekends (helping sort their laundry or even doing the laundry... if they can work a cell phone, they can work a washing machine!)... and don't sweat the small stuff... all those little details can be overwhelming... concentrate on the bigger picture things (food in the fridge)... leave the dusting for now!

I have a Sienna van and the back headrests should raise/lower. Mine does. To raise, we just put hands under and pull. To lower, once raised, you will see a small button near the post to push in. You may know all that just don’t want to do that way. Wanted to share, in case. Safe travels and enjoy your journey. 😊

Be careful of your Peonies. They might fall over as the flowers bloom. You can buy metal supports to hold them up. I got mine from Amazon and they work well.

I wonder if you could have sunflower butter and avoid the breakouts. Our school had free lunches in the summer during covid and a lot of the meals had sunflower butter because it’s safe for nut allergies. It’s pretty tasty. Have a wonderful vacation!

We just came back from vacation and I was so happy to see a video from you! I also like to use up any perishables in the fridge before we leave so we don't waste anything. I am definitely going to make the banana muffins, they looked delicious and the ingredients are nice and healthy.😋 Today's task list, deep cleaning the inside of our vehicle because it sure gets messy on vacation, but no worries . . . Our headrest in our old van were pushed down like that so you could fold the seats down. Try pushing them up. I know all vans are different so it may not work. 😊

sweetie that is a Toyota sienna if you go in your back seats and push up on the headrest they do come up and that little cushion spot on your door handle is actually a hidden compartment on the driver side door and passenger side door love my van it just got totaled

Hello! Have you ever read any of the Louise Penny mysteries? They are pretty traditional “whodunits”, but they all take place in Quebec. Mostly in Montreal and the surrounding area - one little town (Three Pines) is the sight of several of them. They are not thrillers, but they can be suspenseful. Chief Inspector Gamache is the main character. Your library probably has some of them. Still Life is the first one, I have to read them in order, but that’s just me! 😊 Michael Connelly writes some pretty suspenseful police procedural mysteries. Detective Harry Bosch is the main character. The first book is The Black Echo. Two other series’ of Connelly’s are about Mickey Haller, who is The Lincoln Lawyer (there was a movie about that book), and Jack McEvoy who is a journalist. I’ve never read any of the books about him. I think Connelly is an excellent writer. I’m sure your library would have some of his books.
