Strawberry jam recipe
4 c. strawberries, mashed (I used 2 cups)
1/ c. + 2 Tbsp. instant clear jel
4 c. white sugar
Mix sugar and clear jel, slowly add to strawberries; stir well. Put in containers and let set on counter for 12 hours then put in freezer. This is not as sweet, but is still delicious.

So enjoy your videos. Please don't apologize - we totally get it! I'm a homeschooling mom of 5. I started a quiet time routine when my littles went down for their naps. I'm 40 now, and my youngest is 3 1/2, and I'm still implementing that routine.. mainly for my sanity 😂 Make sure you're getting rest momma even if you use half of your time to rest and half to work it's SO beneficial. Love that dress - beautiful 💖

Love the video! You’ve been a busy bee! I’ve used a big rubber band around my bowl when doing my rise for my breads. It works too! The picture is a great idea too! Sadly my sourdough starter bit the dust while we were on vacation last week! I came home to condensation on the top of my fridge dripping excessively into my starter. It looked so gross. I guess I’ll start a new one 😬😭

Yes!!the adds are annoying on Pinterest! Thanks for the SB jam recipe! I'm like you ,don't like all that sugar,but if I put only a little on, I can at least enjoy it,did you ever hear of Glenda Groff cookbook,used to make her honey oatmeal SD ,it made 5 loaves,her cinn rolls and pizza SD are amazing also!

What kind of funk have you been in? I am sorry to hear about the attitudes of your boys. My oldest gave me attitude the other day and was disrespectful and that was hard, but thankfully he is seventeen and so we got through it well with proper communication later on the day after he cooled off a bit. I think when you have toddlers and babies, it is harder to do that. I have never made my own jam and it intrigues me SO much. It would be fun to do. I enjoyed watching you make your jam. I love the dress you put on but I love pockets in dresses! Never heard of Main Street Exchange. I'll have to check out their sustainability and labor ethics. Cute.

Did you plant strawberry bulbs? We planted some about 6 weeks ago and so far they didn’t sprout. So I’m curious if it’s normal to take this long? Or if we did something wrong.

Hmm…yes I planted bare root strawberry plants, specifically called “Seascape”. According to my research, that was the best kind for a raised bed 🤷🏼‍♀️
