Needed to hear the comment you made about feeling like you haven’t done enough. I try everyday to at least get some type of project completed. I am 70 & my sister is 64. I have a pacemaker & other health issues & she has a few as well. I tell her that just getting the smallest of tasks done is an accomplishment!!! Loved the video as always.🦋❤️

I've noticed that you haven't gotten your baseboard in yet. You might consider doing the peel and stick. I'm not sure what the cost is but without baseboards it will be very drafty in the winter. After it gets installed you caulk it and that really helps with drafts. Makes your electric bill higher.

🦋 I love hobby lobby. I was in there 2 weeks ago and got all kinds of Christmas things. I decided to get all new things for the tree. New garland, ornaments etc. I decided to go with red, white and green theme. Then I have also have Christmas gnomes around. But I got 2 of those blankets but in different pattern. They are so soft and so comfortable. Me and the kids always fight over them. I might have to go grab me one more so we aren’t fighting over them.

I love decorating for Xmas. My first order of business is going through all my totes and reminiscing and also figuring out what I need and what I can donate to others. Sometimes I forget what I have, but I have started to prep already. I have 4 brown bags in the closet of Christmas decorations and stocking stuffers. I have already wrapped 6 gifts for my kids. It is never too early to prepare 😆 Also, dollar tree has pre-lit 3.5 ft trees for $10. I need to get like 2 more for the house. Happy prepping ❤🦋

Over the years, I often forgot to turn the Christmas tree on until later in the evening, which always disappointed me. I always thought I should get a timer for the electrical outlet. I finally did it a few years ago and set it to come on at 4:00 PM, as it gets dark outside for a few hours until bedtime. I encourage you to get timers for the Christmas trees and any lamps you want to come on routinely for the evenings. I purchased the Hyper Tough indoor timer at Walmart for under $6.00, you depress the little grey pins down for "on" hours and lift them up for the "off" hours. I used to use an outdoor timer for a small Christmas tree on my front porch because I hated going outside in the cold at bedtime to unplug that tree but once some of those lights burnt out I stopped plugging it in at all so it's just decorated with some pine cones and cranberry picks.
