In Italy we call that sheet pan lasagna PASTA PASTICCIATA, because it usually use some leftover bolognese ragù (not enugh for a formal lasagna but enough for a normal pasta dish condiment) and we use any kind of pasta. If you make it with fusilli for example or penne some of the pointy ends of the pasta stands out of the sauce and brown beautifully in the oven, leaving you with so much more crunchy bits to enjoy. Love your channer and your interaction with Josh. Thank you. Lots of love from Italy.

Hi Becky! As a Turkish person, I am so happy to see that you’re trying a comfort meal from our amazing cuisine! As a note, we traditionally don’t use curry powder in our meals. Instead, the beef sauce we make for the pasta and also for almost every other ground beef based meals, is quite similar to bolognese minus celery and carrots. The core spices are hot Turkish peppers, black pepper, cumin and salt. Ground beef is always cooked with lots of tomatoes, green peppers, onion and garlic with homemade tomato and pepper paste, and it’s always cooked slowly. The yoghurt sauce is typically made with only garlic and salt. The herb we prefer in the meals is always parsley. Every meal is garnished with parsley lol. Cardamom was a very popular spice in Ottoman cuisine, but no longer common in the daily cooking. Thanks again for sharing this in your channel, you are absolutely great to watch!

Becky, I saw you using your home-made pickle relish and I would love to leave you a suggestion. Next time you are making relish, instead of cucumbers and zucchini in your pickle relish, replace those with a mixture of diced peppers. I use a mixture of 30% mild peppers and the rest in hot peppers. It makes an amazing, sweet pepper relish. You can use this relish in any dish you use your standard pickle relish for a new and fantastic flavor profile. Try it. I think you will enjoy it. 😉

I love adding a bit of leftover rice (whatever flavor/kind I have on hand) to my salads, it soaks up the dressing and is delicious. I think this salad would be delicious if you didn't crisp up the rice - let the rice heat up in the oven or in a skillet a bit to meld the flavors together, but don't let it get crispy. You could have also used the low broiler and put a timer on, making sure to stir it at least once, after a few minutes. All of the recipes looked great! I have another suggestion; when it comes to things like doing dishes and putting away spices, how about just snapping your fingers like some other KZbinrs do? That would be fun and save time.

Hi Becky. I know I mentioned this before, but please don’t let your tiny pup out without being out there with him. I literally had my 16 year old papillon standing next to my husky and Havapoo at the end of my short sidewalk while I was carrying in groceries and a coyote got my papillon. The other two dogs were still in the same positions looking confused. I had other pets killed by coyotes and hawks. Even if Orbit and Tibro are right there, coyotes can get your pup. I’d hate for you to go through the absolute devastation of searching for your small pup after a coyote attack. I don’t think I stopped crying and gasping for hours after I finally found her. Coyotes watch and know what animals you have, when you’re out in the yard etc. They’re incredibly smart and resourceful.

How devastating, I'm so sorry 😞😢 🫂 I had a hawk take a wild rabbit 5 ft in front of me last summer. My little Yorkie wasn't out there at the time, but I reflect and think how that could have been her had she been out there that day. Since then, she only comes out to the garden with me and on a long tie out leash so she won't be snatched. (We don't have coyotes in my area, but we do have hawks and eagles. )

Hi Becky, I tried a Rick Stein recipe (English chef….I am from England) stuffed Mediterranean vegetables and the beef had cinnamon in it and to be honest I wasn’t sure I would like it but it was delicious….sometimes it is great to go out of your comfort zone xx

Hey Becky, was wondering if you ever thought about growing a few herbs out in your grow room thru the winter? This way you don't have to buy so much fresh at the store? I have 6 pots going all winter and it's great to just go and cut what i need. You have such a perfect set up for it? Or even a few small pots on your kitchen window ledge?

That’s exactly what happened to me with the rice. I thought it was my fault and hadn’t cooked it long enough. I was so disappointed as I thought it looked like such a fabulous idea. Love your channel, thanks so much ❤

I am loving your recipes. I’m always looking for a short cut, can I use oven ready lasagne noodles for the first recipe?

Becky, I am going to try to do the pan lasagne in the near future. I hope I can find the Boursin cheese flavour that you used. It looks so simple. Thank you! I will try to remember to let you know how it went. I used to make home made spaghetti sauce years ago but now I just buy the store bought. Thanks for all of your inspiring recipes. All of the best for you and your family this year including your parents. It's always nice to see them.

I usually find the Boursin cheese in the deli section in the grocery stores. With the specialty cheeses and hummus, etc.

Hi Becky! That cucumber salad is very similar to a quick pickle salad I serve with homemade chicken satay - maybe that’s something you could try instead of the crunchy rice?

Loved this video and all the recipes! For the last salad dressing, is there an oil I can substitute if I don’t like the taste of olive oil (I hate olives 🤢) or does the flavor get somewhat masked by all the other ingredients? Also, I think maybe crisping the rice up on the stove wouldn’t have dried it out so much, but still got the crisp you were looking for.

After 5 years I finally made that viral egg sandwich where you make an omelette, put the bread in, then flip it and fold it. I wasn't expecting much, but it was amazing!! I've had it 3 times since I tried it last week.
