Hope you are feeling better. I got Covid, which was a little surprising as I am fully vaccinated, but Omicron is unfortunately not covered with the vaccination. I work at a school and it was hard to be sick and at home. I did work from home the whole time which was good for my work. Covid is just such a difficult thing for all of us. I hope we can get ahead of it soon.

I’ve started putting a tea/dish towel loosely on top of my instant pot to capture the steam when I release the pressure and it works great and saves me a mess, especially if I’m making anything with tomato sauce! Great video!

The rug in Payton's room is so beautiful!!! I love to see you doing all the projects and cooking. My family and I moved about a 1 1/2 ago and we are still working on projects here and there. We did paint everything before moving in and redo our kitchen cabinets. I am so thankful that we did that before living here. I hope that once things are finished and your are all moved in you feel the same way. I would love to hear how you organize the storage (cabinets, drawers, closets...) once you are settled and how things work for you. It always helps me think and see different ways of doing things.

We recently starting using BUTCHER BOX and are so pleased with them. Such good quality meats and convenience. It is reassuring to have good meats during this time of never knowing what you you may or may not find in the grocery stores. Everything looked delicious. House coming a long nicely as well.

Hi Robin, I'm happy you recovered from the flu and it wasn't something more serious. When you move, will you have room for a full sized freezer? We have two large freezers we always keep fully stocked......and it is just the two of us! It certainly gave us peace of mind during the worst of the pandemic, knowing we have plenty of food and didn't have to shop for groceries too often other than milk and fresh fruit & vegetables. Anxious to see your finished product.

So glad you’re better 🙏🏻❤️ The rugs look beautiful. When I became engaged, I went on a Mother-Daughter trip with my mom to Greece and we had a stop in Turkey and got to tour a rug factory…. Being young, I didn’t listen to my mom when she encouraged me to purchase one 😂 😢 I truly wish I had, but that is just how it goes. ❤️. I don’t have a rug, but have a once in a lifetime memory of that trip. 🙏🏻 Excited to try some of the recipes and my first time sauerkraut (per Lisa! 😂) also was yummy! See you soon!
