If we are talking about shivering and sweating..... Shivering is +ve and sweating is also positive and it gives -ve inhibition to hypothalamus that's why both response are negative hence, it is called negative feedback mechanism...... Please clear this I'm stuck here🥺🥺🥺🥺

I didn't get your query properly Forget everything, Negative feedback system is the counter balance Mechanism for example Increase body temp >37C- sweating to decrease temp And Opposite Decrease Body Temp - shivering to generate heat and increase body temperature So opposing the ongoing process is a part of negative feedback back loop

And why you tell shivering and sweating is positive Every function is positive but for what favour (+FBS) or oppose (-FBS) that is important for FBS
