That is what Jesus would do, try to fix it, have it repaired, and give it back to the owner. The Spencers are so awesome - Rueben is great one too! A great testimony video on how to be a servant to the community! 16:14

I knew you was going to give it back! 😊 That’s the honest thing to do. Hope he keep his receipt and can return the other! Sea foam does wonders. My Husqvarna was still bogging down after new a spark plug and spark arrester being clean. Put a drop of sea foam in and with in 30 seconds it was smoking a lot for a minute ( carbon build up) and starting running like new again.

Karma! He gives and he shall receive. Shawn that was outstanding what a act of kindness and good faith for you fellow citizens in and around you. Sorry! Pops but I believe your father has as much enjoyment out of that trimmer, as the original owner is having as we text about this faith of paying it forward to its rightful owner. So perhaps since you announced it on your channel that your going to fix it up and give it to your father! Might he be in for a little surprise on a special occasion in the coming days ! Week's! Or months Ahead? 🤣🤣putting you on the spot with your father now! 🤔🤣🤣 Good job!! I'm proud to be a prescriber of your channel 👌🏻👍 🙋‍♂️hi, from IOWA 🇺🇸🥂

I would have checked the spark plug in the beginning. Then I would check the carb for gummi old gasoline. Then I would try a few pulls. Don't forget the air filter. Fresh gasoline and it should run good as new. OR. You can do it your way. You're the expert.

At 3:55 that flap/gasket goes under the platic cover as a heat shield. maybe if you get a chance, let the owner know before the plastic melts. Either way, great they got it running for you and were able to give it back to the guy.

I only run Echo trimmers now and the only thing I have ever had to do to them is clean the spark plugs and the spark arrester. I have loved them for years because they are easy to start and run great for me. I would have checked the plug first and cleaned or changed it and then moved to the arrester. I think the customer is running too much oil in his mixture which is why you are seeing all the oil everywhere. He needs to follow the directions on the recommended amount. My son used to do the same with our stuff and I noticed some of our stuff started to get harder to start and it went back to my son putting too much oil in the mix.

glad it was a simple fix. I have a 2620 T myself bought it new in 2021. I put one of those maintenance kits in it every spring. Id say like you mentioned he probably had mixed a bit too much oil. It cost me a little more but, I run no ethanol fuel with Echo brand red armor oil and I swear my equipment starts and runs better.....that may be partially in my head but it sures seems to run better.

Most 2 cycle issues I’ve had is dealing with carbon clogged exhausts or fouled spark plug. I run all Echo equipment and since we switched out to Echo’s Red Armor 2 stroke oil I don’t have anymore carbon issues. The Red Armor burns super clean.
