When my friend lost her husband she stopped living herself. No housework, yard work Nothing. It took her a year to even shower and cook for herself. They were together for 50 years. Don’t judge people. Mental health is a serious issue. We don’t know what this family is facing Thank you so much for helping ☺️✌️❤️

Exactly , I was taught never look down on someone unless you are helping them up. And everyone grieves differently , in our own time frame and ways . Some have a hard time going through their loss . Kindness goes a long way . It’s been a very rough year for many stuck inside etc. sending prayers for your friend . I lost my husband of 43 years last year so I do understand some of what she’s going through . ( and not to cv but a short but very aggressive lung cancer )

@@pamkammann1176, many if us are walking this lonely road we never thought we would be on and unless someone is on it themselves, they have no clue as to how painful just living day to day can be. Losing your parents, a child or a sibling, while painful, is nowhere near as painful as losing the one you thought you'd share the rest of your life with. It has been 22+ plus years since I lost the most precious human being I've ever known and every day is a struggle just to keep going. Cancer took my precious gift from God as well. Nobody need be a pro to make the difference either, just a willingness to take control and do the work. Me and a couple of others have been doing the job of the local council for four years, they don't even bother to cut the grass anymore and say it is budget cuts... More like the lads or the management aren't willing to do it the hard way like we are doing, when they say budget cuts it means the lads want twice the wage they deserve and they don't have enough fuel for the motorised tools and aren't willing to do manual labour. I injured my back about six years ago and got fed up with been unable to earn a proper wage and was propped up by welfare benefits - I have pain almost all of the time at least one-day-a-week I manage to go pick up the litter, cut grass and uproot thousands of nettles and do requests (ha) if people tell me where the worst bits are they need fixing up, this is to maintain the place I live in and to earn the welfare others are paying for by going to work. If I did one day of work on the wage the council lads are on it would pay me for a week, I think this computer is the most lavish thing I own.

Who knows why what looks like it was at one time an "aspirational landscape and garden in progress" along with what appear to be several "deferred" projects gets away from a customer? Can be any number of things and it is really wonderful to go in and help take that heavy weight off their minds. Having had things go a different direction than was planned (even if it was something leftover from a previous owner) can be a real burden on the mind so it is a very good thing you are doing here. Sometimes such a kindness is just the thing that gets someone past that "high-centered" feeling that they're never going to get things straightened out... Don't know if that's what was going on here but whatever it was, you made a difference that likely will "resonate" across the neighborhood.

You keep amazing me with your extremely generosity and golden heart. Amazingly how people dare to have their places in such a terrible/horrible condition as it doesn't seem that this owner has a bad health condition. I'm not even sure if he deserved that you used your good materials, time, health and money. May the Universe bless you as you more than deserve it with such golden heart. Much love from South of Spain 🇪🇸

Amazing what this wonderful man does. Bless him! This just seems like a lazy renter/homeowner. I feel sorry for people who are unable to get their yards done but no sympathy for lazy people.

That’s great doing it for free to help. Neighbors always love the look of edging. I bought a Milwaukee quik lok system and my neighbors tried to do the same with basic trimmer 🤣

Good job. It was a monumental task from start to finish. Most people don't know that you can get a sore (lower) back just from line trimming because the weight of the petrol (gas) line trimmer shifts your center of gravity. There's no equal distribution of weight so one side is always carrying the heavy load and your body tends to re-adjust (at the expense of your lower back) to compensate. Kudos for fixing his yard.

God bless the string trimmer and whoever invented it! My favorite of all the lawn equipment! So satisfying to watch you at work Sir, just like watching an artist create.

I love the fact that you always bag the clippings. I know it's extra work, but it leaves a clean groomed lawn that allows for water to reach the soil. Thank you for helping so many people... I love your son. He works hard when he's with you. What a sweet guy!

Young man should used the money he wanted to pay you and have someone help him with the debris in his yard. I’m sure those are projects that never got completed. Nice big backyard with great Potential. GREAT JOB. ✌🏾

If he had that kind of money he could’ve bought a weedwacker for himself. I’m thinking he didn’t have it and landlord should’ve been doing it.

Wow, I have weed whacked a few times in my life and I know my arms were sore for days after I cant imagine the soreness from a whole backyard, but amazing work! I watch your videos because they are relaxing to watch before I go to sleep and Watching you do the backyard with just the weed eater is surprisingly one of the most satisfying things I have seen in a long time, you do a great job on these videos and thought you should know how awesome you were doing!:)

I just love that rapid loading trimmer head. Wish I had it back when I did the trimming. Would have saved a LOT of time. As dry as that soil is, I am surprised that the grass is growing at all. Amazing. Lots of rain? I am in California, haven’t seen any measurable rain in months and months. One more, it might help to have a 24-30” push mower for those small jobs. Although that backyard would have even been are to do with a push mower.
