There are two locks. 1) is the yellow snap you push to one side. 2) right down in the middle there is a very small tab that you need to lift up... I have a 04 Jeep Cr Cher Limited. They may not all have it but the one I had did have it.

What if i get brand new bulbs but the left light still doesnt work?? Do i replace the wiring ??

You may want to test the socket with a test light to see if there is power going to the socket.
