How To Install a Shock Strut On Tilt Trailer ATV Snowmobile

I put two struts on instead of one and with two sleds it comes down nice and slowly and doesn't slam down.

Sleds are pretty heavy. This worked well for my setup.

These trailers do this unmodified I use mine for ATVs and snowmobiles. How is this any different?

This one didn't come with a shock to keep it tilted up. I added a shock to it to keep the trailer bed raised.

Hello, I am needing to make a similar application on my utility trailer. Can you tell me the length of the shock that you used in this application. Might the second measurement, 12.25 inches represent the closed length? thx.
