I'm about to try to change my a/c clutch in my 2012 Ford focus. I'm going to replace both belts in the process. This definitely helps me figure out the belt process. Thank you!

But that red thing he used to hold the ac belt is called what?

This helps, I need to check the gap on the compressor clutch. If the gap is too wide I need to adjust it, or replace the aircon compressor clutch.

@@HomeownerRepair I haven't done it just yet, but I have 100% confidence that I know what I'm doing now. Parts from RA just arrived yesterday - now I just need a day off to throw 'em on thurr! 🤠

I’ve been trying to replace my ac belt but the one that keeps popping up in autozone computer doesn’t fit (4040300s continental)

You may want to have the dealer run the VIN number on your car. They can provide you with the correct OE part number for the belt.

Looks good. I'd still hire someone. Don't have an extra car to drive to auto parts store ;)

I cannot find the AC belt in front of the Serpentine. Would anyone know the part number?

If you go to the dealer with your VIN # they can look it up for you.

How much you charge for this belt replacement? Local shop near me is charging a whopping 400$ for labor
@HomeownerRepair Жыл бұрын
That should be $100 job in most shops, plus the cost of the belt.
