Omg, thank you for responding this quickly, holy thank you for the contents you make I think I can almost say you're my favorite KZbinr. Here's a totally unrelated question: what's you daily driver and your favorite accessorie for it? Wow.... daily driver.... for me(the voice behind the video) definitely my notebook: MacBook Pro 13" 2017, 3.5 GHz i7. My iPhone X is almost an accessory to it as I spend most of my time developing software for the iPhone. My wife LOVES her iPad Pro 12.9" and her Apple Pencil, she does amazing artwork with it. I'm trying to get her to post some videos of her drawing :) We've ordered the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max so that we can do some unboxing videos for them. We may keep them :D. (BTW, THE AIRPODS ARE AMAZING RIGHT??)

Ah, I wish we did, but after splurging on the watch last year, we may have to wait a few generations before upgrading those again. Super excited for you to get yours though! Looks like some really nice upgrades in the 4th gen.

Your black HomePod is not set up. You have to line up the green circle on your iPhone with Siri Orb to complete the set up. Follow the instructions. It’s not that hard. That continuous glow orb means the HomePod is not set up. Hold your iPhone over the top of HomePod. The same process you used in setting up the white one.

I agree, it is not set up. If you watch the whole video you'll see that I attempted to set it up using the same process that I had for the white one two times (maybe three, I'd have to watch again to remember). The white one rebooted once and asked me to set it up again during the video. The black one rebooted after set up multiple times. Again, this is addressed in the video. I show these failures in my setups to so that as much as people say things like "It's not that hard," it is more honest to say yes, sometimes things go wrong. But it doesn't stress me out. I just try again :) Ultimately it set up correctly when I had gotten back from my sis' wedding.
