Playing lead on bass is also really fun, as well as chords etc. You should check out bassists like Charles Berthound and Les Claypool; Virtuosos that manage to make the bass more difficult to play than the guitar.

I've always loved the bass so took up playing it. I'm only a few months in and am self taught (no one in my town teaches/plays) so it's a bit slower going but I'm loving it. A sound doesn't necessarily have to be complex to be incredible. There's a lot of simple but amazing bass lines.

There was an episode a while ago where the who was supposed to play at Springfield, but an area code dispute cut the town in half. To bring the town back together Homer tracks down the who to play on his side of Springfield, which is just the Simpson family at that point. That episode had Daltry and Entwistle provide voices. I think Pete's brother Simon did the voice for Pete. So in short, Homer had an exchange with John Entwistle, and then cant remember who he is.
