unfortunately there is keybord and mouse emulator and you can use it in hunt. I knows it, becouse when they release 1.8 pc servers was down(if i remember correctly) But consoles was up. And i went to twitch to watch if anyone playing. And found console player who moves and shots like pc player. I thought it was pc and he was able to play game, but later i saw wheel of choosing weapons. And after asking him a question he repled me that he uses that emulator. And on stream he killed all squads at server. He was duo against trio.

As someone who exclusively plays on ps4 there's a certain charm to the firefights where everyone is kinda bad. There's a lot more shotgun, melee, and general chaos. It's endlessly hilarious. More console stories, please! I was laughing the whole time as I definitely empathize with a lot of this.

My experience as a console Hunt player is consistently wildy inconsistent. One game I'll be smashing headshots from 100+ meters left and right and the next I'll have a literal minute long knife fight with a guy because we both missed each other with every shot we had in both our weapons as the last two people on the server, the next I'll be incapable of killing so much as an immolator, and the match after that I'll be irritated so I'll server wipe with a bomb lance and stam shots. I hate Hunt Showdown. It's my favorite game.

Been playing Hunt on ps4 since it dropped for sony. It's a different world from PC for sure. (Only from visual experience) One thing I've found out the hard way, is randoms will quickly leave you once they grab the bounty. That's when I decided to play solo most of the time. Been running mainly solo for about a year now and even tho its tough, I have nobody to abandon me.

I really like the occasional console videos, especially since I'm a PC player. I like seeing this other side of the game. I've heard that the console version has a different meta than PC, and that using a controller makes melee weapons more viable, but since I don't have a console I can't verify this for myself. Maybe a future video could highlight some of these differences, featuring a melee weapon such as, I don't know, the Bomb Lance?

Yeah aiming is a bit more difficult so combat is at closer ranges and shotguns and melee weapons are more viable. I like it more tbh because in my opinion positioning is more important on console than it is on PC and makes for a tactical game because you can't just click on heads the second you see them. Interestingly enough console is the reason explosive ammo rightfully got nerfed into oblivion because running two Springfield compacts with explosive ammo was a meta load out for a brief time and it about made the game unplayable

@@noonecares6121 Its harder to get to 5-6 stars because... aiming on console is much hartder. Which means melee weapons are better in general than on pc. The point still stands. Considering the majority of the player base is 4 star and below.

being a 5 1/2 ish star gamer on PC, seeing console reminded me of a better time. A time when i could play for fun, and not for team coordination. The times when you'd get into shouting matches with friends over what the hell was happening as you ran around desperately trying to figure out how you were on fire and bleeding at the same time. I like this series, the console, the derpier aiming, the lower MMR brackets. Keep doing it please, i enjoy greatly.

Welcome to the dark side of melee rushes shotguns and chaos, as a console player we are kinda the black sheep of the hunt community with a game not made for use and a menu that was not set up for our system. Hunt on console is a wonderful and chaotic experience that is either exhilarating or exhausting, with crashes and glitches but also with a unique adaptation with its own quirks and rhythms in its gunplay and movement. Loved the video keep it up!

Once you get the hang of playing console and get into five star lobbies you'll notice gunfights become as quick and accurate as what you had on PC, six star lobbies are sweat and salt mines, it's hit your headshots or be hit in the head within a five second span

The whiplash you get from going from a console shooter with aim assist to one that doesn't have any aim assist is insane. Like i'm sure that 95% of those people thought they were good at shooters, and that they're "95%" accuracy on COD wouldn't let them down. They believed in that "95% accuracy", but little did they know that that was a lie all along. They thought that Aim Assist wasn't helping them get those high numbers, ooh boy how wrong they were. I used to be one of those plebs the whiplash was indeed insane, when i moved to PC and got HUNT. But then i started getting used to kb and mouse, and omg i am THAT good just not with a controller. No thanks. XD My accuracy on Controller without aim assist is about 50% or 60% on a good day maybe a bit higher. That's just me spit balling tho, because Hunt does not show "accuracy" stats anywhere, that i am aware of. I do know that my Accuracy is indeed closer to 90% with kb and mouse for sure, maybe is less like 80% or closer to 95% but i am not sure. I do know that i am pretty decent. I do not however get a lot of headshots, but that might be on my part since i don't aim for headshots a lot. I do however get headshots more on mouse than i did on controller of course.

Loved the video. I play on Xbox and I play duos and get some garbage COD players who think they can do whatever and when they die they rage quit. When your engaging an enemy from distance people on console tend strafe back and forth so lead your shot a bit more and you’ll be killing fools in no time.

Ah I remember console Hunt. I used to play on console, a little after scrapbeak was added and it still felt like Chaos rained supreme. Now it feels like I play tarkov, cause I only get headshot 50% of my games, unless it was a shotgun who hit all ruptured all of my organs, broke all my bones, and eviscerated my skin with one shot

I think something that would help would be changing it so your FOV is never zoomed it. As you have it now, your FOV is decreasing when you stop running and I think that might be contributing to your issues with aiming.

I thought something was a little off when I picked this game back up. I had to question why I was so damn bad but then I realized this game mightve been catered to people who........haven't played with a controller all there life. Playing this game without even earphones is basically like playing dark souls blind. It's so wonderful when your just walking and every step you take gas so much detail, the glass shatters and pops beneath you as you walk on it, you can hear bushes and flakes of grass graze you as your crouch walking through it. The problem with console hunt is not the controller, but the game itself. For instance, Halo, on PC, I prefer a controller. The aiming is smoother, the movement is fine tuned, you can tell it is a game meant for the controller. Now, with Hunt... The aiming is absolutely a joke. When I get into a new fps game on console (Or rather when I used to be on console) I always tried to make a small circle with my crosshair. If it was able to do it, in games like BF3 it was amazingly accurate, then, the game was programmed perfectly to fit console play. If it couldn't and would make small squares like everything was on a grid, then the game is absolute garbage and you shouldn't feel bad for missing shots that were never meant to go anywhere anyways.

I am a 2.15k/d PS5 player and i see a lot of people saying console players are bad by default, but i am a 5-6 star player and play against leaderboard players all the time. And let me tell you, at this MMR people hit their shots, headshots are very common, and long ammo, along with shotgun/ uppercut is the meta. I would say the bad console player thing is true for 3 star and below as i believe low MMR PC players are quite better. I recently made a smurf just to mess around and got a k/d of 23.

Load times are great if you got the newest consoles. On my XSX I load in within a few seconds but then I have to wait a bunch for the rest of the people to spawn in. My friend who olays on the original Xbox One on the other hands often liads in up to 5 minutes AFTER the match begins.

I like the console videos and if you do another trip to console hunt you should really do as the natives and run melee wepons (Bomblance, axe, cavlery saber and Romero hatchet are some of my favorites) melee is king in console hunt

I only play on Xbox, so messing with settings, using gunslinger mode and just dealing with the abysmal RS\/ button mapping for heavy melee, and practicing with your weapons and traits in the range are all just... How the shooting is. Dualies and hip fired pistols miss frequently unless you reeeeeally slow down your shots, or just ADS.

Hunt on console is a different type of game. My personal favorite is when I as a 5 star get killed by a 2-3 star team with 100 kills max and they kill me with pinpoint accuracy, only to go on to the next gunfight and miss every shot and die in the most pathetic fashion face down in the mud. Console is a truly random experience.

Pax bleed with any shotgun with penny shot or a bomblance and 2 stam shots get bounty as quick as you can fake run lead to a compound your a god with the geography and fake a corner turn and kill one by one nearly works ever single time your good for pushing and good for defence but in all honesty hunt showdown on console is trash especially trio's I like solo on duos but any team randoms are very unpredictable as literally only the few speak so usually get nuked as lack of communication

As a console player lemmie tell you, the terminus with levering and flechettes is a godsend. If even just a couple pellets hit ur gonna bleed that mf out over ur 2 min dance of death

I've always kind of put the players in the console version in a kind of play style stereotype. You've got the brawlers (uses medium ammo or faster firing weapons; nothing but chase), the bush campers (some kind of long range weapon or shotgun; almost always runs and can be very liberal with their shots), the sharks (love that melee and can't get enough of it, will hunt down the first team to make noise; 50/50 play style), and finally- the rats (take epic guns and will intimidate you into falling back a bit, then will flee for their expensive lives). There's way more I reckon, but I'm done typing, lol.

bought Hunt on PS5 a few days ago. There is barely anybody to play with in Europe on low lvl

As someone who has 1k hours+ on console and was constantly 6* without using constant bs like shotguns and melee, id suggest turn ur ads sensitivity down so woudnt go for flick shot (thoes come later once u get better). But increase ur hunter sensitivity for bosses and i recommend having the same hunter and the hipfire sensitivity. One more tip is when u have ur scrollwheel up bind right dpad on vit shots (thats what i had) by holding ur scrollwheel up, pointing at the vid shot and then holding right dpad. (Same goes w ur left one. I kept it on the medkit because u use it alot). Always keep ur knife and nades on the same spot in the loadout so eventually muscle memory takes over and u dont have to scroll thro the whole thing looking for the right stuff. Oh and i forgot one more thing, on console a guy i met told me to not shoot when u see a enemy but shoot when u see ur crosshair on his body. That really helped me, yes u do die alot because u take long to shoot but u will get used to aiming fast to prevent thoes situations. In other words, dont rush ur shots. Good luck everyone! :)

Dude, don't use the weapon wheel to switch guns, just press Y/triangle. That shit is crazy! Whatever items you put in the first tools/consumables slot can be quick selected with the left and right d-pad buttons. I put knuckles in the left most one and health syringe in the right one. I bought a controller with some extra buttons so that I can quick select knuckles and also melee with separate buttons that are easily accessible. Keep going, Hunt on console can still be great! 👍

I wish it was cross play with well implemented M&K control on console & an option to play strictly console or PC. It staggers the patches & causes more things to take into consideration considering how differently people play on each because of limitations or lack of limitations. I was turned off by this game when I first played it on console
