This is cool. Here's a challenge to make this harder. For each Family aspiration sim, add a full bathroom to normal requirements. For each Romance sim add a guest bedroom with double bed (or ensuite, or ensuite with kitchenette). For each Wealth sim add a minimum 1,000 Simoleon statue or fountain. For each Popularity sim add either a bar (with optional bar stools - sometimes I put the bar against the wall and put a shelf over it and try to match the color) or a hot tub. For each Knowledge sim add a study or library room (with computer and minimum two spaces of bookshelf). If you have more than one sim with the same aspiration, you can double the challenge requirement space or alotment instead of creating an additional one. (An extra large bathroom; a very large guest bedroom or ensuite; a double bar might represent a larger bar area or a den with pool table and bar; a very large study or library room)

On a further note, has anyone been able to solve the Newson curse? I have not been able to play as the Newsons without either one of the teenagers dying or the social worker comes on the second or third day. The nanny (as usual) is hopeless. So I've tried to employ a butler instead. In my other families, the butler is one of the better child caretakers as they will usually abandon housework in favor of taking care of babes and toddlers. But not in the Newsons. In the Newsons, the butler I hire refuses to touch the toddlers, so same problems. In my last play attempt I managed to kill the teen male in a water slide accident about four hours before the social worker came for the younger kids.

I love how you set this up! ❤ You can really feel the love for the game in this video, I really enjoyed watching it.🥰 As for the dad being a romance sim; with all these kids around, I always interpreted them as him putting all his romancing wishes and energy towards his wife. Hence all the kids. 😄 I don't think he'll have the time nor the energy to pursue a second romance for a long time to come and he may never will. 😁 I will for sure watch all of the videos in this series and am really looking forward to the next one. But I'd be especially curious about the Cooke and Roseland "Families". Syd Roseland is one of my favorites and I'd love to see what you build for either of these guys. No idea what their budgets are though. 😄 With every video of yours I just keep being amazed at how beautiful you make everything look without any custom content. This house too and I think it's absolutely perfect for this family. I think I moved the Ottomas Family in only once in all these years, in one of my older private hoods that I currently mostly use for testing new ideas. Looks like they are getting a new home today. 😄 Oh, and I think she had twins in my game, but I have no idea if that happens every time or that it was my doing. 😊

Thank you so much! Syd is actually one of my faves too. Taking care of him and his dog is just so low-stress. They will likely be the next family I make an episode for! As for the mom in the Ottomas family having twins, apparently that is something predetermined for the family. I was super let down when I found out because I think I definitely could've made a bigger nursery or an extra room. ANYWAY thank you so much for your feedback! Absolutely loved little movie part. It's cute❤ I would also vote Ramaswamis, because they are hindi inspired sims, so I would love to see you make their house with slight exotic theme of their nationality.

I really enjoyed this!! The intro scenes, the build, the outro - all super enjoyable! It is sooo hard to make a house big enough for this family with their budget, you did so well. They can definitely improve on the furniture as they earn some more money but at least they have the space! I reckon the younger kids can definitely share rooms; the newborn(s) can also definitely be in mum and dads room - most newborns sleep in the same room as their parents for the first 4-6 months of their lives now! I dont mind who we see next, whatever seems most fun to you. I wasn't sure what you meant by some families only being available in some hoods though 🤔 I thought they were pretty much all available in every hood haha, shows how much I pay attention 😅

Thanks so much and I'm on the same page! I figured since she's actually having twins then when their current toddler grows into a child they can take over the nursery while the newborn shares a room with the parents. Lol sorry I explained it weird! For example, the Burb family is a sim bin family that only exists within Pleasantview. Families like the Newsons, Ramaswamis, Ottomases, Roselands, etc are families that come with every single neighborhood both pre-made and custom!

The purple flashing is just a thing that happens when the game runs out of texture memory for that play session, no biggie. Restarting the game clears it out. If you recorded the whole intro before building, that could be why. Loading lots of different lots and sims in one session fills up the texture memory faster. You could try increasing the forced texture memory in graphic rules, but you can only increase it to your computer's VRAM, so it might not do much good for older computers. In any case, if this is the first time you've seen it, I wouldn't worry about it.
