I didn't know the notebooks gave a heads up regarding evolution topics in the anatomy books. That is so good to hear! Been waiting for my oldest to start 3rd grade for these. The younger kids add on is great too!

These look interesting! My kids are struggling with science this year. I never enjoyed it as a kid either but I'm always on the lookout for something different that might pique our interests! I will definitely check them out!

We have the Farm, Nature, and Food books along with the Daily Skills notebooks. I also got the 9 Masterbooks Wonders of Creation books and Daily Skills notebooks that go with them. We didn't do the ocean book though. I'm excited about the new wildlife one and hope Daily Skills makes a notebook to go with it.

I'm not a fan of Julia Rothman's books at all. I find that they lack depth, coherency, and intention. Just my humble opinion though. I'm also not a fan of the author's work outside of these books. Christian families may want to look into her other content when discerning whether or not they want to purchase. Thanks for a review.

They do lack depth , we used them in First and Second grade but beyond that my child needed more ... Maybe if they had made the workbooks before now it might've been helpful... But for the interested child it's simply not enough in my opinion. The appeal of the books initially was just that they were all over Instagram because homeschool esthetics and they photograph well and are pretty. I think they are great to introduce subjects for the younger graders though.

💯 a quick look at her Instagram was enough for me. The art is beautiful but overall not very useful. So many beautiful books out there I’d prefer not to support her work.

Yikes!! I would’ve had no idea had you not pointed out looking into her content. I almost bought these books that go along with a unit study but I will not be purchasing them after scrolling through her Instagram. I will find an alternative. Thank you for mentioning🙏🏻.

Mandy, I’m wondering your opinion on the author personally, I checked out of curiosity her instagram, yikes, it also seems she most recently came out. I’m wondering what you would say to Moms like me who see value in such a wonderful curriculum but then find out the authors doesn’t hold the same values. To use or not to use, this is the question. Obviously with the Holy Spirit guidance above all else. I do value your thoughts and opinions tho. 💕💕

I go over that in the video. I have a few thoughts on how I use secular curriculum. Obviously, it's hard to get away from entirely, but it's a great way to show what the world thinks and explain WHY it's wrong. Use the Bible side by side and show them what God says.

I can’t find the guides for the younger ages anywhere on their website. I even tried to add the bundle to my cart and there was still no option to add the other versions. It’s like they don’t even exist! Please help me out 😅

These books are so elementary I wouldn't recommend them for beyond year 3/4. I haven't used the workbooks though and can't speak to them. I have a 6th grader and we enjoyed these in first and second grade. She's beyond these books now and wouldn't re read them since they are so basic. They are very pretty and I'd recommend them to the younger grades as an introduction for sure.

@@_.-._.-._.-._.-. I think it really depends on the student because we have many families who use this series with our notebooks for middle and even high school aged kids. I only know this from the reviews they write though. 🙂
