🌈🪩🫶🏼 Welcome to the notebook party! In our homeschool, we keep notebooking pretty casual (meaning I don't prep or plan it all that much). Do you have a notebook/binder/folder system you love in your homeschool?

Miller Pad and Paper has lots of notebooks too.

I love this! I've been wanting to add notebooking but wasn't sure how to make it happen with such young kiddos. I love this "portfolio" style notebook! What a great idea! Thank you for sharing.

we have tried notebooking with my middle children, but she didn't like it very well. she is more of a tell me exactly what i need to do and i will do it. i am going to try some notebooking with my boy as i think it would work well with him. we are going to be starting with mythology.

My kids are a bit like that too, which is why we do a lot of worksheets. Or I prep notebook pages for them, as if they're hand-written worksheets.

@@OdetoAbode oh! I hadn’t thought of prepping notebook pages like that.

I love the diagram with the jug broken down. Can you share where you found that? We’re working on that now and it would be a huge help!

Are the narrations next to the pictures their own narrations or copy work? I could no tell or you mixed them? (I am referring to the colorful notebooks)

@@lizeta8404 it's a mix with copywork, but all the narrations are their own

HI! great video! Can u please tell what curriculum do you use for geography and History?
@OdetoAbode22 күн бұрын
@@heenashaikh5076 we've used a variety of things. Mostly History Quest. This year, we're planning to try out Geography Jr. from Guest Hollow. Later today, I'll have a video featuring another resource we're trying out - a family unit study that covers some history and geography. It's from Ticket to Learning.

Guesstimating ahead of time to divide the grade-level notebook into a few subjects was exactly my mistake last year too. It just didn't work because I couldn't predict, especially with little kids who sometimes mess up a page and need to skip it, how many pages we'd use for each subject ahead of time.

I’m planning to use subject notebooks that way I don’t have to guess how many pages we will use. When the year is over, then I’ll divide from there. That’s another way to do it 😃

Ooh I love this. I want to add notebookinh but had no idea how to practically do it. So many things from this school year I’ve thrown away because it was loose leaf and I didn’t know what to do with it. Thanks for the demo 🥰

Thank you for the flip through and explanation of how you use notebooks in your homeschool. I was trying to figure out a way to incorporate them and I think your way seems doable for a first time homeschooler like myself.

Thanks for the walk through! This looks like a great way to organize school work. Also, I love that the 1st grader's favorite song is "Teen Spirit" 😂 I assume that's Nirvana lol.
