hi. i'm starting 1st grade this year. Looking at curriculum, etc. When you say state standards, is that like common core? (not a big fan)

I am not a fan of common core either. However, I like using test booklets that test them using common core b/c if they were to go into a public or private school they would need to know what they are doing. I don't know, just my opinion, but no I do not like it!!!
