When my husband was active duty Army we homeschooled at odd times too based on his schedule and hours. Weekends, evenings, weekends and even holidays. Our goal was to be available to have fun with him when he was off. . Good for you for doing what works best for your family.

Yes! I love that!! Family time is not always on the weekends or after 5 on weekdays.

We do weekends. My husband has his days off during the week so either do half days or days off when he is home. I just track what the kids do each day. Usually my youngest kids are mostly on the same days and my oldest Usually schedules her days around her part time Job. We take our breaks together except sometimes my oldest still does her work depending on her work schedule. But end of year and summer we still do school but mostly depending on what each child is working on and whatever they have left to finish their goals. If it's nice outside we go outside. Summer is too hot and winter too cold so I tend to be pretty relaxed in autumn and spring and go do things outside instead
