I have 2 little boys 6 and 5 and I'm just eating all of your videos up with history and momming! I am inspired! Your daughters are talented! I love their work. Beautiful! Praise the Lord. Great job with the hang out room! I would love to have a room dedicated to homeschooling but right now our dining table is serving as homeschool work/dining/recreation table for ping ping matchbox cars and board games lol. Even in their bedrooms there is no space for doing independent study so we are praying and believing the Lord will lead us to a bigger space. I have really maxed out every space we have and each room dual purposes as another room. LoL sparks creativity! 😅📚🎨✏🦋

I totally understand! At one point there were 11 of us in a 1000 ft sq house-not an inch to spare; when we hung a chalkboard on the dining room wall and stashed all the school supplies next to the table. But those were blessed times without a lot of upkeep so we had more time for fun.🥰

Can you address the practical and spiritual aspects of decluttering books and homeschool materials after all the children are schooled and no grandchildren are in sight? I welcome one of your sayings that I can hear in my ear when I'm making decluttering decisions.

We just gave them supplies and homeschooling gave them hours and hours to devote to their passion.

Do you have any music book recommendations for piano, guitar and violin by chance.

We use a free online music course for piano, and we like to get our guitar music for free online, which lately has been Rivers and Robots.

How did your daughters learn to be such proficient artists? Are they self taught? Did they learn from youtube and other online sources? I have a daughter very interested in art so im curious (:

We just put out lots of paper, pencils, etc. and had them draw. Sometimes I drew with them, sometimes their daddy drew with them, but neither of us did formal lessons. One of our sons could draw realistically when he was three years old! We have a lot of artists in our lineages, so I think it's probably just in their blood. If we had given them lessons they probably would have hated art :)
