YES! Love me some Police, one of my favorite if not my favorite band of all time - so cool you have the taste to enjoy them among your usual bluesier flavors. Huge Andy Summers fan over here and Stewart is my favorite drummer. Love to hear your arrangements of these classics.

Randall Bramblett is an old and dear friend as was his guitarist and cowriter for so many years, Davis Causey. They are part of the extended Atlanta Athens musical family that I was part of for 40 years as a session and touring guitarist. I am semi retired now down near Tampa and am addicted to your Homeskoolin videos as are my old session guitar friends. They say you can’t teach old dogs new tricks but you do it constantly and inspire me to reach for it. Many thanks from a loyal follower.

As a low intermediate player, what I've learned from uncle Larry is 1. learn to play basic chords across the fretboard 2. prioritise touch and taste over speed of notes 3. practice like it's a song and 4. focus on not rushing phrases. Since watching these videos, I really feel like I'm improving in all these areas. Pints on me if you ever make it over to Dublin. Cheers.

I had a Carvin Tele-shaped thinline that was a bit too early for the times, and I could never get a pure-ish acoustic sound out of it. But Mike Skaggs could, he brought his own Carvin into the studio, played it a bit and then handed to me… not the kind of encouragement I was hoping for lol. I traded mine, and a Twin head, for a “mint” Guild D-40 Jubilee that a guy took home when he closed his music store, then forgot all about. He remembered it as not ever having been taken down and played as it was surrounded by Gibsons and Taylors. Hangvtags still on it , it was a fair trade!
