Hey Tom, recently I was stumbling around the house while listening to some old episodes on tv. I was in the bathroom when I thought I heard a woman singing. It took me a few seconds before I realised it was you playing some beautiful tune. I thought: that's what I love about his playing: the vocal quality, taking you someplace else. Thank you for all your wonderful little songs. That said, I would like to hear the 'Firebird Lullaby' again.

Hey Tom, First and foremost, thank you for the wisdom and lessons. I look forward to them, they are a bright spot in my day. It does get to be a huge rabbit hole some days. You mention a name or two, a song or two, then 4 hours later... I have googled everything I can on the subject. As to what to play for the 100th, ANYTHING! I truly enjoy everything that you play. Ok, maybe the Hank it up, that one was really cool. Honestly though, it don't matter. Just getting to hear and watch you play will be awesome! I have cleared my calendar for April 9th. Maybe, hopefully, one day when this virus crap is gone! The 200th show can be huge, and all of us subscribers, can make a pilgrimage, and fill the house. If we ever do get a chance to meet, which would be way frickin' cool. The first case of Rocks is on me!

Hey Tom, Just so you know, You are also a Cleveland Legend! You might live in Tennessee, but everybody knows your heart is all Cleveland. Awesome class as usual. I started laughing when you started talking about the capo, "I just learned the chords". That is so true, I don't understand the whole capo thing because you actually have to transpose in order to play. Way easier to just play the bar chord. If your fingers don't all reach, mute a couple strings or play em open. Great tip on the harmonics, especially the 12 fret detail. A lot of channels like to show off how they can do it, but don't show the natural 12 fret harmonic that makes it happen. I like how you pick underneath, I started doing that after a stroke because finger picking went in the toilet and I noticed it by accident. Thanks for sharing your qwerky details, real and raw, the way it should be. Here's 20 thumbs up!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great to hear the credit to Greg V. Like another viewer mentioned, my wallet suffered from his gear demos -- but my tone and playing style benefitted a lot! I remembered an article that I read a long time ago, and I found it again. In this interview, Greg describes what a generous person our host Tom was when Greg first came to Nashville. It's on Premier Guitar. Search for: Nashville Cat: a session with Greg V There are many references to Tom's generosity and talent in the article. It's Greg's interview -- but he is compelled to mention Tom five or six times. Be sure to read the last bit about Nashville Number System - priceless!
