Seems at the higher-ups, they're prepped for Gator/Clod. Notice how Dewgong appears so frequently on the opponent's end. That's one of the crazy phenomena trying to wrap my mind around is the _stratification_ of elo brackets; even if you use a team that has success somewhat lower, could get hard-checked by players a little up in rank. I think that's one of the many reasons why so many players (erroneously) believe there to be an 'algorithm'.

⁠@@BigBrotherMateykait does seem that way at higher elos, the teams are a bit more unique sometimes like they would have a shadow dragonite or oranguru, that kind of thing whereas at lower elos like around 1900-2400s its usually just full top meta teams and you will rarely see a team without a clodsire

Yeah I can't seem to get a majority of games right now that don't have dewgong, which baffles me since it's been such a rare mon over the last 4 years for me. (under 50 caught ) - but if that's just the bracket I have to fight through and it's roughly where all these players landed, that makes more sense
