@@thomasroark7984 I had dropped down to like 2000 during OGL (I love it but suck at it) and climbed back up to 2300 with this team. I have finished the last 3 seasons at Veteran rank if that helps too

I really hate Poliwrath. Medi gets nerfed only for Poli to take it's place and be VERY annoying with debuffs. Idk if it's as oppressive as pre nerf Medi, but it's so annoying to deal with. Giving it Icy Wind was such a questionable decision imo, especially since it has Ice Punch.

I just played a great league version of this team with Jelli, Shadow Amph, & Clefable. I didn’t really put it together with the purpose of hard countering Poliwrath I just wanted to use some fun pokemon, but it ended up getting me some pretty good games.

Absolutely amazing video with triple Poliwrath counter, it never gets better than this and the fact that Cresselia isn't even running Grass Knot just makes it a bit more intense as well as if you don't even need it to win. Great video and with Poliwrath everywhere now is a good time to run double/triple counter because whats better than making a match a 3v3 into a 3v2? Also big shoutout to that trainer that used the Shadow Zapdos amazing pick for this battle.

One of the biggest problems in general is spammy debuff moves. It should be either debuff for your other mons or try to beat it with your strong charge attack. They shouldn’t be as spammy as they are. It should take way more to debuff at 100% especially

Found out the hard way that Poli can actually simultaneously KO shadow A9 on the swap if you no shield the scald and they get the debuff

I've been seeing Ampharos teams every day. Haven't figured out a good team yet to beat them with. Would love to power up my hundo Gfisk but don't have the XL candies

Excadrill does very well into Ampharos, you hit hard and you can always take one hit by them and you also outpace them with fast charge speed.

I run into them and if they aren’t shadow I usually throw my charjabug at them. I run mandi, charjabug, and poli in that order, so yeah ampharos should win, but hasn’t yet against me

I've been running that same team too this season. Lead goli, shadow amph (focus blast more useful for me) and dragon breath gira due to all the normals/darks out there. Almost expert rank!

Scald might be my least favourite thing in pvp every icl, I’ve lost 4 or 5 matches so far solely because of the debuff (in fact the opponent got back to back debuffs in one of those and that was by far the only way they would’ve won) It’s so dumb

I've been running a train on my opponents in UL recently, with the current meta being what it is. I'm running Trev lead, Ampharos safe swap, and Politoed in the back. Just throwing that out there in case you're looking to change your team around.

Met about 17 Poliwraths out of 25 battles tonight. If it's that so annoying popular than perhaps icy wind should be deduffed. From lowering opponent's attack 2 levels to 1 level. Sick of seeing it.

Running a team like this isn't necessarily about Poli being oppressive so much as it being on tons of teams in lead swap AND closing positions. With a team like this it doesn't matter where it is and you have high odds of at least one favorable matchup

Fanservice game,the kids favorite mascotte Charizard has 230000 moves, Niantic should give to him also shadow claw. Unbalanced pvp and pathetic stats to pokemon. Fairy are too busted
