I've watched all your videos now. They are all very informative and educational, but I think a lot of people watch them for the relaxing quality they have. Mostly due to the physical contact you have with your clients. The watchers of the videos project themselves into the role of your client. But more importantly the nurturing quality in your voice and persona. You come across as knowledgeable but without being authoritative or condescending. Thanks for the time and trouble you took to present these very professional instructional videos. Peace!

"I think a lot of people watch them for the relaxing quality they have...The watchers of the videos project themselves into the role of your client." That describes me. The esthetician in this video has a lovely voice; it's so soothing. Though I am not watching to learn how to give facial treatments, I'm impressed with how she explains all the steps involved. She's an excellent instructor.

We always remind viewers that there are many ways to perform a treatment and very rarely only one way to do it. The basic principles will be shared but individual interpretations make for many unique and varied results. Embrace the differences, take elements from as many different reliable sources as you can and create your own bespoke routines :)

so would it be a good plan to not wear makeup to a facial. Though of course, for many it might not be the first step of the day. Do you do this step if the client doesn't have makeup on? It seems to me it might be a good plan, as, how deep a makeup cleaning do we do at home? Probably all our faces could use some extra deep cleaning.
@homespabeauty6 жыл бұрын
Lots of people will have some makeup on when they begin their facial (at the moment with the contouring, eyebrows and liner trends it can be quite a lot!). You're correct, a double cleanse is a great idea for everyone as the initial cleanse helps to remove makeup, surface oils etc. and the second cleanse really starts to get into the skin for a deeper clean and better results with the next products to be used :)
@karenj48548 жыл бұрын

Thanks Carole, that's so nice to say! I think some of it might be using products on clients so frequently that the by-product is you're constantly receiving a moisture boost. I'll put together a video sharing what I do and what I use and you can take credit for the inspiration :)

In considering going for a facial and was wondering what was involved. Is this a typical experience for a facial?
@homespabeauty8 жыл бұрын
This covers the basic routine of sorts, but there are so many different variations now that your best bet is researching local salons and choosing what you like the sound of from their treatment menu.

what cream you have use to do massage? any others oil like olive oil can be use?
@homespabeauty10 жыл бұрын
There are so many creams, balms and oils on the market that we always like to try new formulations and manufacturers. Massage balms such as Tui balms are a particular favourite at the moment and, so long as your client doesn't have an allergy, your suggestion could also be used.
