Just found your channel recently and I have really enjoyed it! Your sweater is just so beautiful! I can't imagine how comfy it is to wear! My best friend has a channel "rose opal knits" and is hosting a Caitlin Hunter knit a long that is going on for an entire year. I had never heard of her patterns until she started their knit a long and then you have this sweater...I am so hooked on her patterns. Now I want all your yarns. Your neons are calling me!

I’m working on my first pair of fingerless mitts! And once I feel confident in knitting the thumb gussets, I’m sure there will be plans to knit lots of mitts for Christmas! Your sweater knitted in your yarns is so very pretty. How nice to hear your parents visited you all. And they got to be a V part of preparing your bungalow for you all! StitchedbyMimi

That Soldotna looks SO good and your mom’s is going to be, too! I never understood the short sleeve sweater thing until I knit one… “don’t knock it til you try it”. I live in the northeast, USA and our falls and springs are a bit chilly so they make for awesome transitional tops. If your up for trying it, I bet you’d love a Summer soufflé (by Penrose knits). Love your podcast, as always!❤

Hello Jessica. Thank you for your sweet comments on the Wildflower colorway ! I decreased for the sleeves right before the colorwork begins at the cuff. K2, k2tog. Is how I did them 😊. I hope that helps ?!

Wine when I knit at night. Other than that? Coffee!!!!! Edit, probably one of a billion. I'm finishing a 50/50 wool/ silk tee right now. Self drafted, because I'm insane. It's actually light and not too hot. When it hits 90f we shall see if I'm wearing it still. Probably not then. To 80f? Yep.

I'd love to see your dad dressed up in his knits. He seems rather flamboyant in his taste in clothing and I love that since the majority of men I know, seem to wear muted earth tones, or black gray and blue. I wish more men were confident enough to wear bright colours.
