This is what the bluegrass is all about right here. Today, I'm going to take you on a ride in the country out here in Harrodsburg. Now here's the farm here. We're gonna go through the whole thing. Step by step, like we always do. But I want to explain a little bit what we got going on right up here. Where my thumb is, where the. County road ends. Now from here, all the way out. County road. And it's3 quarters of a mile. 7 t,10 of a mile. Out to Terry Pike. The location here is amazing. You're talking about Shawnee Farm, Anderson Circle Farm, which is now Greenbriar Farm. You might have heard of the Greenbrier Resort. Well, the same fellow fella owns is Anderson Circle Farm. Now Shawnee Farm one, the largest privately owned thoroughbred farms.
[00:04:56] Caché, the whole thing views is all to me, it's all about the views. Everybody's different. I'm not trying to push my ideas on you, but my gosh, look at these views. Also, remember, this is January when I'm shooting this. So this is the worst time of the year for beauty. I guess you may call it the ugliest time of the year even for me. It's this is not ugly. You can just imagine it. The other 10 months of the year when it's not December or January or February, February, it's starting to green up here, the end of February. So you only have like2, 3 months that it looks like this and the rest of the time is beautiful. Hey, guys, if you've got one, this is too the man out there. And to the gals who'd like all horses and tomboy stuff. If you have one-ounce red blood in your body, you're going to absolutely just drool over this barn.
[00:05:54] We're gonna go on inside. But these doors are I'm gonna guess 10 feet. It's got power. I talked about the pat transformer and it's got an office in there with heat, light and everything. Oh, my gosh. Pretty cool. But look at the views. I mean, really, look at that. Now they're Shawnee Farm. There's one of their barns. Now they have. Oh, gosh, a dozen of those. Yeah. It's an amazingly gorgeous 12 acres, I believe, thoroughbred farm. And then you're also looking at Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, which is one of those living history farms. You'll want to take guests there and you can see it from here. So the cool thing is they have the running of the hounds, which is just beautiful. It's like a career and Ives setting. It's the fellows in the in the big red coats on horses not talking about all that stuff. What's going on inside?
[00:11:23] This is exactly the way I have it. My house. And it works perfectly. It just works. So it's like this huge room. No, this house is only 1750 square feet, which by today's standards it's not huge. But this feels like a basketball court inside. They feel so big, so airy. The vault, the ceiling makes a big difference. We've got the bow window here. There's your view. And right there. Straight out the Seanie barn on that one. There. Mayor Barnes, they're a thoroughbred operation. They have broodmares and they make babies. What they do, they make thoroughbred babies. And we're not talking about just average run of the mill thoroughbreds. These are thoroughbreds that run in the Kentucky Derby.
