Strikingly beautiful filly. For being of such big powerful breed, she looks almost ethereal. I think it's the combination of the smoky, cloud-like gray tones on her coat, mane and tail. Not to mention the pale silky feathers. Add to all that, her face has a gentle youthful look. Truly lovely.

Such a unique coloring a tri color, I think. Usually, in this breed, it is 2 colors. The gray color is even more rare then the black.😮😅

Back when I was training horses, I always patted horses, especially when they learned something important, in a timely manner. When I was rodeoing, I always pated my mare's neck at the end of a barrel race or any event for a job well done.

Breezy is Wonderful and certainly not a fleuzy 😂😂😂. Okay, I have to admit that I'm a complete Sucker for that owners Scottish accent❤❤. Not necessarily abuse, it depends on how you ' people' your animals, if you always give them loving hands they learn your touch is good. Cats don't HAVE to be gently stroked, mine have their fur ruffled by rubbing back and forth, they also like being patted, cats that can be petted in different ways are much more childproof, so are less likely to get real abuse dot scratching someone.😂

Absolutely great technique using the food motivation with the saddle. They also freeze because they're afraid that if they move, the saddle will attack them! Remember...that is the way ground predators take down horses -- by jumping on their backs -- it's instinctual for them to fear anything on their back.

Well done, JR! You know it seems like no matter what the YT topic - it could be anything from apples to yoyo's....the trolls come out with hateful comments. Unfortunately, it has become part of the YT gig unless you or a moderator take the time to block the haters. That's about the most absurd idea I've ever heard about horses, that patting them is abuse. These are people that are not happy unless they're saying something to try to bring others down.

Impressive training progress with Breezy! I think she sniffed the saddle, because it is made of cow hide. She might wonder, why do I have a cow's skin on my back? What will it do to me? Do horses know about bovines? I dont know, but JR allowed her time to process new information and to relax. And get some reassuring pats and grain. This is a pretty girl. I have noticed seeing several clydesdales that r cow hocked. This one and even your young one Natty. Also a few u looked at ,at the auction where Natty came from. Is it more common in these giants as I don’t see it in other breeds of horses very often. This girl looks a perfect size for riding though I know she will end up much bigger. I’ve owned one draft , my dream horse and she was the best personality and smoothest ride ever. I absolutely love drafts. So glad u r into them to so I can watch them still. I’m retired and don’t have horses now. 😢 thanku for being u and for doing what u do. 🐾❤️🐾

A friend of ours lost several fingers having the lead rope circled like that. 😢 She was leading her horse out of the corral when a loose horse ran between her and her horse, tightening the rope around her hand. I always do a figure 8 instead. Accidents do happen. 😢
