I wanted to let you know we love your videos and the joy they bring us. Steve had a posterior cervical laminectomy and spinal fusion last Tuesday and was in ICU for 3 days then 5 days in orthopedic unit in excruciating pain and the worst care I have ever witnessed. A true nightmare. I ended up in a full blown anxiety attack and stayed by his side for 6 days without sleep listening to him writhe in pain and scream for help but to no avail. I had to come home and heal myself before I go back. My daughter has stepped in for me while I get myself together. Any good thoughts or vibes would be appreciated. We thank you for the uplifting happy videos you share with all of us. Thank you for any positive healing energy you can send❤️

oh my gosh judy....i am so sorry to hear about steve and the lack of loving care he is receiving from the medical world....something is missing in the 'medical care' world....i would be getting me some 'natural plants' to help ease the pain...is that available to you? i am holding your family close as i head out on my morning walks...sending peaceful-ness to steve...you are in my heart....xo

What a beautiful bounty of fruit, the lemon juice sure is a pretty orange. Thanks for the humus recipe, I will definitely try and make it. I have my 3 grands from Austin coming in July and I’m sure it won’t take any time for them to gobble it up. Hudson, little guy, what a howl haha I love it. The pool s going to a fantastic addition. Good to see you all - Saturday morning treat here! Loved seeing and hearing the rain! Yesterday we had SNOW (briefly) .. and right now it’s only 44 degrees outside! Brrrr! Spring … sort of! Do you also dehydrate some of your fruit? Such a bounty! Can’t wait to see the pool project develop! My husband works a lot with leather - he made saddles many, many years ago to put himself through college. I use a lot of his scraps in my miniature creations - wallets, book covers, etc. Too fun! Rob’s belt looks like new! Love your slow stitching, Lori. I’m slow stitching with the hope of turning the pieces into a small quilt - we shall see! Off for a good day ahead here and wishing you the same there! Hoping to forage again tomorrow for morel mushrooms. We did so last weekend and found many! Delicious! Thanks for the video! what kind of mushrooms are you foraging? we used to forage mushrooms in michigan....fond memories! i have bananas in the dehydrator as we speak kathleen! if the mangoes keep coming we will be drying those too! i loved seeing rob's leather work! anyway...thank you for coming along with us kathleen!

@@robandlorrimarie2022 We forage for morel mushrooms this time of year. We found many again today. Dinner tonight will be morel mushrooms - and that’s it! Perfection! I would predict you would have foraged for morels in Michigan - a great state for morels. I grew up in Illinois - near the Mississippi River - another stellar place for morels. And, we foraged for them when we lived in Minnesota. Thankfully, wherever we’ve lived … morels have and do abound! Glad you have a dehydrator! We use ours often too - even though we don’t have our own huge 🍉 🍌 source as you too! Thanks for responding (again)! Enjoy the week ahead! ❣️ Kathleen

How wonderful to have so many fruits, etc growing all around you... very cool!!! A pool on a hillside, still trying to wrap my brain around that. Can't even imagine how that would work. Wow! Nice job on the belt Rob, and the slow stitch basket bottom Lorimarie, also very nice. I had to laugh when you said that you dont throw much away, and like to use things to make other things, paraphrasing here... But the reason i laughed is because i get a lot of flack from my kids for that. They think im crazy for saving so much stuff, especially now that i live in a studio apt. Lol. To be fair, i do get a lil out of control on that stuff. I just hate to waste anything!!! Maybe it comes from growing up poor? Im not a hoarder, but dangerously close...lol. 🤣 Ok... I'm all about repurposing but you take it to a whole new level! The belt is better than new, Rob. Thank you for sharing your slow stitch piece, LorriMarie. A few years ago, I switched from a Will to a Trust and I'm very glad I did. I've also covered all expenses at the end of life so that burden won't fall on my children. You're so right. oh claire...hummus ala rob...i love that! they do not have trusts here...but we will create a trust in the states...and yes....i think it is important to have the ducks in a row so that the kids do not have to deal with anything more than the grief which is plenty! i love playing with the slow stitch claire! thank you for coming along!

Nice job reworking that belt Rob. And beautiful slow stitches LorriMarie. It is so cool to see all the cool fruits you have in your orchards or just laying by the road. And i love that you share it by the road. Its fun to watch you guys juice and jam! 😄😊😊 you def need to get freezer. We have just a little one. But it makes a difference in our budget buying in bulk and splitting it up. And when veggies get ahead of us, esp onions and peppers, i chop them up and freeze them and then they're easy to use in meals. With all the freezing i hope you have more than 2 ice cube trays... 😮

lol laura...nope...only the two ice cube trays...fill..freeze..empty and repeat! lol...i use the yummy juice cubes in our smoothies...it makes them so cold, thick and delicious...so...at this rate we will zoom through the fuit cubes..it is not like we are going to run out of fruit...right?

It is really going to be interesting how they build the pool on that hillside.Will you have to put a netting or enclosure around it keep it clean?My boyfriend has a mini farm with a orchard an all the birds,squirrels an deers love it but we still get plenty to eat.But nothing like what you two gather.Amazing.Have nice week.
