I found your video and went straight to the shops to buy Sage. It ACTUALLY WORKS!! The sore was completely gone within 1 1/2 days of doing this. Thank you so much for sharing. If you don’t have honey or fresh sage then just get a q-tip and then put water and salt on it and put it on your sore. The first minute it will sting pretty bad but it will make the pain go away. If you can’t handle pain well or if your scared to do it then put salt in a cup of water and swish the water around the area of the sore.

If it helps , a little salt pain can't be any worse than extractions of all your teeth right !?! 🙂😉 I just got my dentures ( my gums have healed ) but omg the couple of sores I've gotten are so painful feels worse than a toothache. I know it's all part of it, but gosh it's very uncomfortable. Have bn at work so not much to do about it. I have just put a glob of Orjel and switch it around my whole mouth and spit out. Helps for a little while ,then it's repeat. TYSM for that advice.🙂🙏

Glad to see you. I don't know if you've ever watched Phyllis Stokes, but Pray for her please. She just had two or 3 surgeries and is supposed to start chemo soon. Her husband passed on July 7th........ He was taking care of her, fell asleep on the recliner........ that was that....... She's Physically in pain, now Emotionally as well and has lost too much weight. God Bless. 📖

This method worked great. I found that gently rubbing fresh Garlic on my canker sore worked great as well. Stings for a minute but it kills all bacteria 🦠 lingering in the area and it numbs the pain. I used both methods and my sore was gone the next day

Thank God, and you , it really helped. Used dried up sage and fresh raw honey from locals. Used like 2-3 tbsp dried sage , boiled water and left it overnight. In morning put honey and drank it, also was washing mouth. After 3 days they almost gone, at least not hurting anymore.

Hi, i plan on trying this (using dry sage from Walmart, plus raw honey) as i got a severely painful raised sore at back of tongue from Lite-Mayo whose ingredients contained citric-acid and lemon concentrate and vinegar. That mayo was like eating pure citric acid! Ditto re: your son's oranges. Mullein tea just might help too. OK now, here's my tip. You stated having a cough. So you should know that acidic ingredients not only cause sores & headache & stomach issues, but also thin one's mucus, causing nasal drip. And that drip can cause Neuropathic cough. Enter - Gabapentin. The latter really helps to tame mucus. It works for many of us. Research Dr.Bastian's Laryngopedia.

Thank you, dear Lady, I had never heard of this sage recipe for mouth sores/cankers. Another home remedy that works very quickly and is easy to do is to eat a raw carrot. The sore will disappear quickly after that. Another cool home remedy for stys of the eye - rub gold on it. Easiest way is to use your wedding ring or other gold ring. Clears that sty up right quick.

You always have great ideas. I have heard that camphophenic on a q tip placed on the sore will heal it over night. It’s great, but only takes a drop. It numbs it also. Just put it on during the pain time and before bed.

I take a teaspoon to tablespoon of coconut oil. And eat fruit that won't hurt too much. Like 2 bananas in a smoothie. U have to go #2. Your system is backed way up, and there is too much stomach acid. As soon as u go 1 or 2x, you feel them start to feel better. For pain, I suck on a chewable tums a couple times a day. Takes the pain way down. I'll try sage too.

I've endured these for forty years. 1. The best ointment for relief for me has been Zilactin-B (not Zilactin-A). I've tried the rest, nothing worked. Dry the sore with cotton, apply a decent amount, let it air-dry in your mouth til the ointment goes light brown/grey and dry. 2. I'm convinced that consuming too much sugar causes them (cookies, chewing gum, chocolate, Snapple etc.

Yeah, so, I was late for work one day and was brushing my teeth super fast and I accidentally hit the bottom of my gums with my brush trying to get to back teeth--almost knocked my teeth out in the process too. Thank you! I didn't have any Sage on hand but I did have Horsetail (much less common than sage but I'm a weirdo). I also had raw honey. I followed your direction using that instead and it is working. I'm on day three and the pain has reduced by 95%. I would like to try the sage next time to see which is more effective for me. Not anytime soon, hopefully.

Got a canker on my tongue and it's sore. Had a few sodas over the Christmas period. So I may try your suggestion, although I don't really have any SAGE in my house. And we certainly don't have something like the ball thing that you used. But what I might just try is some Green Tea (Herbal) which I am sure I have some in my cupboard & just let it cool enough and try using the method that you suggest for a couple of days.

I just recently started taking 2 Vitafusion Power C Gummies per day.. I'm 54 and I've never taking Vitamin C before until now.. Anyway now I have little blisters on the roof of my mouth that is extremely sore, and for some reason they hurt worse when I lay down so now I can't sleep.. it's driving me crazy.. The only thing that soothes it for a few is water that is room temperature and leaving it in my mouth a little bit...

@@HomesteadingWays oh yeah.. And another night without any sleep.. I've tried everything with no luck.. I even tried throat numbing medicine that they give cancer patients.. I had that from a few years ago when I had strep throat and it only worked for about 20 minutes.. I just tried also using salt water rinse, but that was a bad idea,. I don't want to go to a Dr with all the mess is happening now..

After the tea is done steeping you could strain it through cheesecloth or a coffee filter

Is there any Alternative for sage, as the place where I Live we do not get it. I get canker sores twice in a year ... So please suggest 🙏

You could also try chamomile. Use it the same as sage except do it 4x a day. Or you could try 1 tsp of baking soda mixed in 1/2 cup of warm water.

I use Arm and Hammer baking soda and peroxide toothpaste regularly. However, you can also use just hydrogen peroxide leaving it in your mouth for 2 minutes. Rinse. Works great. Been using it for 30 years.
