Good stuff. If I had to guess that's around a 4 cord pile.

Looking good fellas, I got a new knee in July, need to schedule the other one. I should have done them both at the same time!

I'd almost just have the tractor sitting there while cutting and toss it right into the bucket.
@HomesteadJay3 күн бұрын
That would fill up quick hahah I needed to be cutting to keep up with dad. He quickly caught up I gave him like 20 rounds to start and he blew through that

Nice job Jay!! My 6048 sprung a leak the other day. Went out to load and there was some steam near the service door and i knew rt away it wasnt good. The flange shutoff valve had a pinwhole leak. Lost maybe 10 gallons. Not too bad. Got the part today tomorrows project to repair. I feel guilty burning oil!!
@HomesteadJay4 күн бұрын
Ugh sorry to hear! Glad it’s fixable! Yes I know burning oil Sucks hahah let me know when you are back up and running!

@HomesteadJay Up and running again!! About a 3 hr job after changing out both flange valve gaskets and 1 flange shutoff valve, refilled about 20 gallons of water and refire coming up to 165 * now. Oil is off!!!!!!

Nice video Jay That was a production Day ! It feels good when a day goes well and you can see the big results !! Do you have room to expand your wood yard to double the size ?? Wow on there is no doubt about that you have a USED tractor 😊
@jayh46135 күн бұрын
I would say 5-6 cord sitting there split. nice looking wood to burn

Your furnace has to be feasting with this time lapse, hopefully making a good dent in all the wood you need to get through to clean up the yard.
@Larry-s9p4 күн бұрын
Should have gone with the 6 way. Much of that should have been resplit.
@HomesteadJay4 күн бұрын
I did some quality control after the fact and re split some larger ones he left. I didn’t want dad to struggle with the 6 way. He doesn’t know the wood like I do so I was afraid he’d get the ugly stuff stuck so I kept him with the 4 way.

Great seeing you in the Woodyard with Jay, reminds me working with my dad. The work is nice but working with my dad is the best pay day ever. I am sure Jay would.d say the same working with you Jim. ☺️👍🏻
