Homestuck Soundtest - Penumbra Phantasm Recreation/Extension (+FLP)

oh wow its been a while since i last uploaded !! its been a quite eventful past few months for me
but!! for the first upload for 2024 i thought id do something special!
ive transcribed the piano version of Penumbra Phantasm and added a lil bit more to it since the original version ends so abruptly ! (new stuff starts at 3:39)

this feels pretty good! you don't spam leimotifs as much as i think most people do, and using SotWW as the ending makes sense considering we know it uses portions of penumbra anyway. feel a lot closer to something i imagine toby might actually use, and the drips of homestuck anthem and alternia's theme are good and, i feel, realistic touches to the song; the only thing that really sticks out is gaster's theme, but i understand wanting to put it in SOMEWHERE considering how relevant he is to the plot and such

thank you so much!! honestly i agree with the thing about gasters theme, looking back the only thing i would change about the added parts are the deltarune references, im not as much of a "PENUMBRA PHANTASM WILL 100% BE THE FINAL BOSS THEME FOR DELTARUNE" truther as i was before lol :P

if your looking for something like that i suggest listening to REASAN's cover of penumbra phantasm if you havent already! im 99.9% certain that it uses the flp i shared for this project and its super good :) (i know someone else has used this flp too but their version of penumbra is literally just what i uploaded but with a different soundfont.....)
