The first time I saw English, I thought "Well, he looks ridiculous." I mean, overpowered as all get-out, but ridiculous. Beefy green monster with saw-like teeth, multicolored wardrobe, a SKULL for a head... what, is that supposed to intimidate the readers? Then, he is stated to have ended an infinity of timeless beings, a number of which had ascended as gods, goddesses and monsters in a game that encouraged violence, and made himself feared by a number of... things, eldritch, impossible entities between dream bubbles, deep in the void. And I thought, yeah, the squiddles were all cute at first, remember that? And then I find out that he was what Caliborn chose to become. Caliborn. That little, immature prick, biologically conditioned into chaotic evil since his conception, gained all that power. Of course he decided to become a ridiculous, beefy green monster with saw-like teeth and a skill for a head. The only thing he probably didn't choose was the Cairo Overcoat, and him being a Cherub, I doubt he thought much of it. All that power and he decided to be THIS. ¬-¬
