I'm using a Behringer Analog mixer. My little sound card reverb effects and other sound buttons won't go in to the mixer. Maybe a DAC between that and the mixer with a ground loop isolator. I tried every which way to get this to work..Pain in the ass.

What about the pre 1 pre2 and post? What does that do. I thought it would bring the effects into my ears

Hi, Great video ! I just had one question ? Is there a way to get additional FXs (more than what’s already on the console) for that mixer ? I was thinking perhaps i can buy more and add it on from the presonus website ?

Okay Joe so I basically work alone. I record synths and drum machines all on individual channels. I have a 32s and an NSB 32.16 so I have a lot of synths and drum machines. I like the internal FX on the desk and use them to make up part of my sound when I am programming the sound on my synth as I never use any presets. My only problem is when I record them into studio one pro( I am still using 5 as I haven’t got round to updating yet) it always comes through dry even though I have it set up post. What am I doing wrong.

Hey Joe ... Please show us how to work with the 32SC I use monitor outs to send signals to my KRKs and Main to my FOH powered spkrs. There is not clear info on using FX using this 3000$CA mixer.. my singer wants sauce on her voice... or she's gonna quit..

Joe it is great to see you doing these Presonus video's - love them and this one was so helpful to me - I have another idea for a video - I love my StudioLive Series III - I want to be able to use the board and the board FX - but from my DAW - I want to send audio from my DAW to the board, apply FX to the signal and then have it "return" to the DAW and record it.......Soundcraft Signature 22 Multitrack does this seamlessly

Hey Joe, can I add reverb to my matrix mix? My live stream mix is a bit dry without room ambient and I don't wanna use room mic. Hiw can I add reverb to just the matrix mix?

How can you send a Fx to the monitor without sending it to the main mix or vice versa. Or like what if you want a lot of reverb in FOH but not so much in the monitor mix.

love the presonus community! has anyone figured out, yet, how to set up the reverb proportional to the monitor aux mix? i can set the fx aux to post fader option. but once the specific channel is muted in the main mix, there is no reverb in the monitor mix...

Hey Joe, I'm so used to my studio live 1602 and the studio 32 SC is very different . I'm trying to send wet FX to mix 9-10 and not to mains. I want vocalist to hear reverb but I don't want it to be recorded to my main out toLogic Pro. So basically dry vocals going in and wet going to the headphone 9-10. What am I missing here?

reverb return channel? How do I send effects to a mix, not how do i send the main mix to an aux mix. I need to send reverb to a stream out that is a completely different mix.

Great video and I have a question please. I have the 32S model, which I have not used yet (I bought it fairly recently). I am rewiring my studio for a hybrid setup where on a mix down I would like to use, at times, some vintage outboard gear. (Like an Eventide H3000 and some vintage digital reverbs like Yamaha REV 7 and Lexicon PCM 42 Digital Delay). Question: Is it best to send the the audio to the outboard gear using the Sub Outputs (like an aux send on an analog console) and return the FX stereo audio return signal via either the Aux inputs and/or a line input. There's only 2 stereo Aux inputs on the 32S, so I would prefer being able to use the line inputs (as returns) so if needed, I can return 3 or more stereo FX return signals into the mix down. Thanks for any info you can share as I am used to using an analog console. Phil NYC Area

I can’t believe I just discovered you can’t over dub onto SD card 🤦‍♂️ Surely you should have option to avoid running an external computer/DAW????? Disappointing 😞

The unfortunate person who designed this forgot the inserts. Horrible. It looks like a video game or it looks like a toy that does everything. Series II (AI) offers more serious features.

Not to mention the only model that doesn't waste half of its channels as sole mic inputs is the 64S.
