Studiolive 32S how to send effects to a DAW

Thanks for doing this. I have a 32s and NSB 32.16. I have a large synth and drum machine setup. I only use sounds that I have programmed myself. Using the onboard sounds of the mixer as part of the sound the way we did it when we used tape. Because of the way the mixer is made when I record my music it is always dry and I tried to get presonus to help me to get the sound I was looking for. They could not understand why I didn’t want a dry signal. This will work thanks so much. Only taken 2 years 👍

If you open the 32s Template in studio one daw under "Interfaces" then switch to daw mode it will auto apply the i/o and auto. add all channels when you save as template! Ability to skip all this process , this was a dscussion me and a presonus rep discussed , hope this is helpful, shame their so lil videos on this

Wow didn’t know that. For someone like me who is near a beginner in this new digital world, it’s hard to figure out simple stuff like this. That’s why I put this video to explain to people like me who are beginners step by step for dummies🤣 Even if it is the long way around I think it can’t hurt learning how to do it manually as well.

Controlling other DAWS such as Cakwalk X3, If it wasn't tested, Can you find out? What setting needs to be setup. I Preferr Cakewalk not studio One.

Hi! I love your tutorials. Question: Is it possible to route input line 1 on my mixer to record on input 5, with changing the cable? I have Studiolive 32s III

I assume you are asking whether you can record the physical analog signal plugged into input 1 and send this into channel 5 of the mixer? If so you just need to go into your input routing settings and make sure Analog Input 1 is assigned to Channel 5 as a destination. You can actually assign the same physical input to multiple destinations but the mixer channel can only have one source input at any one time.

Aside from this - Can you please explain if there is a possibility to use the DSP on the outputs in Interface Mode? I need to be able to calibrate my outputs with delay and EQ. Please advise if this is possible. Thanks!

in si glad to have sell this.. its the worst consolde i ever own noting is simple...evrething is lost in sub menu and shot.. i change it for a simple tascam model 24, while lacking the motorized fader i simply automate in my daw. its straight forward and simple to aply effect like they were outboard gears just with a aux.... plus i can actually print effect in my daw...and record them out in the tascam as back up easilly and just mix in analogue straight on the sd card... the setup is like all classic console... unlike this...wich is more like a spaceship... i once search 3 hours why the hell i didnt have sound on this console... its pure shit
