When i saw they had their music, i new it would not be good, the vowels weren't good, the breathed in the middle of a phrase, and sounded very immature, My junior high sounds WAY better, even though we're a junior high.

What the hell are you talking about!?! Their vowels are impeccable!! YOU ARE IN JUNIOR HIGH... lets leave the musical critiques to the professionals. Which both of the soloists are.. They are currently BOTH starring in two of the best shows on BROADWAY.... The Book of Mormon and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. *sarcasm starts here* So have fun with your junior high choir..... I am sure you're all musical geniuses and have no more growing to do.

minecraftlover909 I don't think you get the concept that solo singing is different than choral singing... Yes in choir we strive for nice tall vowels to create a uniformity that makes the choir sound like one voice, but in solo singing we do need to do that. You need to look at the context of the song itself to shape your vowels. In this song we don't want the soloists to sound like they are from England... that would be absurd! Her "to" vowel was lovely. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that vowel.

+APileofBabies I agree with you. The soloists are shocking for this style of repertoire. Real music theatre style of singing. Short vowels (the mezzo - he was better on length of words) and clipped words with cut-off phrases for 'dramatic' effect. Very boring performance overall. No contrast in dynamics. Hate her voice. ugh..
