I live in Portugal since 2 and half years. Teachers rarely give me homeworks and if they even give me homework it will be for around 15 or 20 mins. In Class 1-5, I still remember being stressed by Dashain homework ( THE HANDWRITING ) instead of having fun in Dashain. Now im in grade 10 Glad to be free from Nepal’s Education.😮‍💨

I currently live in Japan in class 6 but i was class 7 in Nepal and the main thing i noticed that is Japan teachers give freedom to their students like giving them footballs to play at the recess, playing dogdeball but at Nepal we used to get no freedom like kids even started to bring their own footballs and played but when the teacher saw that they used to always keep it themselves like in exam some people bring chungi but they dont even let us play it they just take it and even if we go to ask for the chungi they used to beat us in the head because it is extremely bad punishment for kids because kids heads are not completely strong they are weak because it takes time for kids to have their skull structure fixed and if they hit in the head their skull structural process can be ruined, the kids also used to get slapped very hard and sometimes they say to the class captain to beat them but the thing they dont think about is that the class captain can be someone's ex or they had fight with someone so because of that the class captain can beat others slowly but they can also hit their ex or someone their enemy they can slap the hell out of them and i am not supposed to get slapped because mero kaan pakthiyo but i have gotten slapped many times and i told you that i am in japan because of the freedom i also like to go to the library which i never used to go in nepal because we didn't have any fucking time to go there and i also think homework is stupid but not at a limit because a kid has a limit of thinking when i was in nepal class 6 my brother used to come in my class at the last period because he used to go home early and when he came to my class he used to do homework and i used to teach him but sometimes i didn't even understand the question like it was hard but i was in class 6 and he was in class 1 i thought if i tell him that i dont know the question hen he will think that i am dumb so i just used to leave it and even tehe last period teacher was super duper nice she was kind, beautiful, cute, adorable words cant even describe how she was so she used to let us sit together, another reason why i don't like homework is that its too much because they will give us homework which was like we couldn't even do it in 7 days but i used to stay all night( not sleeping) just to give it to my frieds so they can copy it,another reason is that they give me tension anxiety etc like they take my happiness away like everyone would be depressed because of the homework thinking how to complete it Thank you for reading🙏.

More than the assignments, I used to absolutely despise the syllabus and the exam structure for Nepali. It's absolutely pointless. Write a letter, essay, analyze literature, short answers, grammar portion all within 3 freaking hours. If they actually want to test your skills, it's better to shorten the exam and focus on key skills instead.

As a math teacher myself, i have learnt myself how assignments should be given and daily solving and reading formulae homeworks make them so monotonous so i most of the time try to give them assignment like learn and reasearch about the arithmetic sections and speak in front which eventually make their arithmetic knowledge good in topics like interest, depreciation, taxation, etc as well it develops public speaking too It's just one initiative,there are lots others too i guess So in my POV typical writing and reading assignments are also necessary but along with that most of the time assignments that develop their extra skills and enhance the knowledge of subject matters is most essential. Feedbacks are appreciable❤❤❤❤

Another good example of not being able to understand the concept is that of compound interest. Every year we used to get around 6/7 marks in SLC around this topic. No one bothered to explain the utility of this amazing concept/topic. It's not only the teachers fault tho. The concept and utility is all there in maths book. I also think, a teacher does what the administration demands him/her to do. Good grades anyhow.

I am a student of Class 10 and I am going to face SEE this year. For the sake of getting good marks in my SEE exam I joined the coaching classes of my school but those coaching classes are not effective as they only make us solve questions that I usually solve in the class. So I preferred to do self study after coaching but since there are a ton of homework I had to stay up until 1 am just completing my hw and then go to sleep and again wake up at 5 to go to coaching and return home at 8pm. Then I thought of completing my hw in free hours of my school time but it has hampered my social life in school a lot and in this dashain vacation too I got some unnecessary hw like handwriting SO I relate to this video very much...Keep up the good work daju..

This is so relatable. I still remember octate rule ko definition word by word, Newton’s law, law of conservation of energy, elements haru serially upto 30 still yaad cha and so on. But the problem is yo sab ghokera yaad vako ho bujheko bhanda pani. I was one of the best ghokante’s during my bachelors nursing degree era. Full stop, brackets sabai memorize garne. Board exam ma pathophysiology, ma ta 40/40 ako ani aru ma pani usually 35-38 out of 40 but the fact is that it made me so dumb that OUT of the box sochna garho hune coz memorize matra garne bani thiyo.
