Fun fact: Kapasi going full Sonic and leaving her escorts behind is something that persumably happened in real life too, with the US carrier USS Enterprise CVN-65. During 9/11, the Big E was conducting exercizes in the Atlantic, and uppon receiving information of the terrorist attacks, the captain ordered the ship to full combat readyness and to immediately return to their home port in New York. For the first and only time, all 8 of her nuclear reactors were switched to maximum output. The ship picked up speed so fast, she left her Destroyer escorts in her wake.

Man I love how it says a lot about the Kapisi overheating like that. It frels like they tried to match Gaalsien carrier speeds even if it damages thr carrier.
