What a beautiful home! She seems like a very sweet and thoughtful person. She has some great pieces, but nothing feels "untouchable" as sometimes happens in a home. She's lucky that she was able to have a relationship with the previous owner and was able to purchase some great things. I'm so glad that she didn't gut the house and make it an open concept and paint everything gray! It's always nice to see homes that have personality. I enjoyed that she shared her thought process. How many people would have made such a small room like she did with the green one? This is one of my favorites that Homeworthy has shared. Thank you and thanks to Ms. Collins.

Love Ms. Collins! Loved her dress attire. She wasn’t dressed unrealistically- like a 1960’s wife about to have a dinner party. Love her sweet spirit reflected in her home. Love the way she honored the previous home owner. She seems like she’d be a great friend and staying at her home would be a grand treat!!

I am in heaven. This home is so inspiring. The pink sofa took my breath away. I love the mix of european,french,oriental and modern influences scattered throughout. I can't say enough about the use of armless chairs and sofas. In a small home it can maximize seating options. This is a testament to the fact if done correctly small homes can be inviting, cozy and even look and feel larger than they actually are. We need a book from this designer.

That sofa in the entry is the most beautiful sofa I have ever seen, makes me feel happy and really sets the tone for all who enter. She has soul that works beautifully with the house's soul! I love Homeworthy’s platform and Allison’s approach to the home tours. They allow the homeowners to narrate and show their lovely homes without too much interference from Allison. Unlike the the host of another home tour (the host Susanna talks too much and can be so distracting). Beautiful home and loved the homeowner’s down-to-earth personality, she was so thorough.

I didn't think I would like this tour since it's not my style, but I really enjoyed it. The designer is so warm and inviting, I loved how went for a cozy feel over a "bigger in Texas" vibe. The pink room and green room are amazing.

I agree. I love seeing places that are "not my style" but it looks so interesting--as she said in the video --personal. That's what is always inviting to me. Someone is sharing their story. That is what a home should be.

Such a heart-centered, heart-directed hostess. Notice Cynthia's description of people and objects as having alot to do with quality of heart, good feeling, warmth, soulfulness.. I like her, and like her home ,which she describes as having had an embracing, positive energy upon first entering - so she does as well. I, too, had a golden retriever, and so can appreciate the depth and poignancy of that loss. Lovely, lovely place expressing interest, care, magnanimity - a vibrant, and grounded life. I love the mix of Chinoiserie, English antiques, and a little bit of Palm Beach Regency style. The colors were abundant without being overwhelming. Every room was a little jewel. Regardless of whether I like the objects or the furniture or her specific choices, I really like the house. It's personal, it's whimsical, it's inviting, and has the right amount of stuff for the size of the space. It doesn't feel claustrophobic and overloaded, unlike the previous two homes. Oh, and also, no dead animals on the walls!

Super crazy about your mantel! Crazy about the art over the fireplace! Love your entry! Love your framed and boxed paper dolls along the stairs! Lovely panels everywhere! You've done Chinoiserie so well! Taste! You've got it! Plus, you are darling! One small suggestion...clearly, you have a garden vs a yard. In Texas, we refer to it as a yard. My favorite English Landscape Architect taught me..."If you call it a "yard" it will never be a garden!" She is right of course...no matter how large or small, it is a garden! Yours is certainly formal enough to be a garden.!

We have a very contemporary home. Glass, stainless, neutral decor. It is a small townhome so I feared using a lot of colour and heavily patterned fabrics. Our previous home was very traditional, antiques, French country. It was far more fun, as I see with this home. It is beautifully curated. Exquisitely done. Now I want to go back! Brava.

I really enjoyed this house, it wasn’t jam packed with bric a brac on every surface, the walls weren’t covered every inch in artwork and other items, it had a lovely light flowy feeling, the colours were fantastic , the fabrics were sumptuous, each area had its own ambience, it’s what l like to call casual elegance.

What a nice person, she could be a snob but isn’t. Love her style. She is very creative. I like how she kept some things from previous owner, I loved how pleasing to the eye every room is, the cozy green room and pink bedroom, and 3 bed bedroom, and the kitchen, love. Another thing that stood out was the paint, wallpaper, and wall finishes. Whoever did all the work, so beautifully done. I wish I could afford to have her do my whole house.
