These chairs and couches look very cozy. I like the round coffee table. A lot of people tend to go for rectangular ones, but this is just great for holidays when you have people get together.

I love neutral. I thought I was the only one my home is a neutral color pallet and for a hard day of hustle and bustle it feels so good when I walk into my home it calms me believe it or not. It calms me so I say go for it.girlfriend 🤣👏🏾😄

Backwards books drive me crazy, too. I don’t even like the idea of stacking objects on top of my books. I want to read them.

backward books is only for staging purposes in styling in interior design. Most companies cannot show the titles of the books hence why they turn it backwards to hide the titles. Most homes don’t do that.

What's missing is actually some age, vintage objects that have a history to them and you have found and not picked off the shelf of a shop. If the owners have equestrian interests then an off the shelf object that is in thousands of other homes feels just empty. It's a fine line between beautifully judged and generic.

I just do not understand this obsession with styling. Do people with actual lives to live really arrange their coffee table in groupings of 3? The most inviting homes have books on the shelves that the occupants have actually read rather than faffing with generic pieces that lack soul or meaning.

Some of us enjoy styling our homes, it’s our thing. If it’s not something you are into then no you’re not going to understand and it will feel like a waste of time. I actually have a book case with lots of books I read and another just for styling. There are people who live life to the fullest and have very stylish homes.
