Love her style. The tapestrys are gorgeous! The outdoor space is so intimate and lovely. Hands down, the guest room is my absolute favorite! That exposed brick and fireplace would have been my choice for the master. It really does feel like an English cottage.

I love the fact that it’s not overcrowded. These are small spaces. You didn’t over do the stacks of books. That’s old and making people look like hoarders with stacks of newspapers and pizza boxes.

I love the brick wall in the bedroom. This was a delightful episode from her dress to the doggie 🤍 to the layout of the home. To the hardwood floors, I can go on and on, but I won’t. I think it’s another episode that’s coming up today and I’ll still be talking about this house🤣🤣🤣

I wonder how old she is? She said she lived in Australia for 8 years prior to coming to London, and in my experience if you live in a place as a teen you are likely to pick up whatever accent is there and it can stick. Most of the Texans I’ve met don’t actually have much of an accent, but Aussies typically do, so if she was in Australia as a teen I imagine it made an impression.

I am thrilled that you love antiques and old pieces like me and most of mine were collected over time but I love them and some have been given to me as people replaced with new and I have some great bits of furniture. Emmaus and British Heart Foundation have given me some bits too and when people move and leave things in the house etc. My mother loved old china and fabrics and my grandmother loved pretty china too but sadly I had nothing of hers. I do have some of her bed linen that my mother got though. It all keeps it in the family and gives you lovely memories of them. My father loved to oil paint so I have some of his that I love. It is not about going out and buying a bit of furniture there is a history to it and a memory and it means more.

Cozy, cozy, cozy. I love the guest bedroom with the brick wall. The only comment I would have is to suggest painting the white fireplace surround in the wall colour. That white is a little too stark in a room which is otherwise soothing.
