I absolutely love this tour! That is so cool that Matt's thrifting goes back to his childhood. I also believe that your home should be filled with what you love. This home exudes that. This home tour is absolutely fascinating. Matt's rented space has become his own. He has thrifted most of what is in it. I love the way everything fits in with everything else. I especially love what he has done with his Christmas ornaments; the way he decorated his trees with them. He has made his apartment super cozy and that has created lots of warmth in me. Matt is very creative. Love his explanation of his belongings. Oh, I forgot one thing -- his beautiful dog, Piper. She is precious!

That Santa Stocking looks VERY familiar… dropped off a box of my mother’s Christmas decorations to Market Street Mission a few years ago and that green stocking with the Santa was one of the decorations… l hope it was hers bc l would be happy for it to end up in someone’s home like yours 🥰

I style my home like this, too. I also sort my books by theme and then match the decor to it. Usually, I try to tell a little story that way. For instance, the "sea" themed painting with the figures in the front look to me like they are passengers on the way to a great voyage. I might even have styled some little wooden boxes or trunks with them as luggage😊 This is such a wonderful home, full of thought and love and stories. Just the way I love it!❤
