Homeworx fall haul 🍁 candle first impressions

I really like these four candles! Frankly I’m not expecting wonders when it comes to performance, but credit is due to the originality and execution of the fragrances.

I broke down and got the crackling fireside as I heard good ab it. I’m burning it now ,,I find it to be a light cinnamon scent. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. It takes awhile to pool so I put it in a hurricane. Omg The lake foliage I kept sniffing cause I couldn’t figure out what I was smelling. Yep Pickles is it lol. I’m actually intrigued how that one translates… great video as always. 😊

Found a couple of the candles you reviewed at HomeGoods - now have to go back and fingers crossed they are still available - the way you described them makes me want them NOW! lol

Great vid , thanks for sharing! My homeworx shipment arrived this morning so it was great timing lol. I was unboxing lakeside foliage while you chatted about it. It's... Interesting for sure. I get a lot of that mahogany and this almost sharp dirt/air note? I know that sounds.... not right and contradictory. But that's what I think when I smell it. I also got midnight moon at my local HomeGoods where I also found the cracking fireside in the reed diffuser format. Both are nice but I do love the way the subtle spices and creamy pumpkin blend in midnight moon.

Is crazy! I also bought a few homeworx candles i got at homegoods. I bought a luxe for $50, actually burning pretty well and love the scent Not as strong as i would like but it works

@@jillj5544there was a 80oz too but i cannot remember the scent, it was a fall scent. Have you tried the 80oz?? It is massive!!!!

I'm not new to burning candles, but I'm new to Homeworx, will burn Mulled Berry Cobbler for the first time towards the end of Fall. I have 14 scents: the one mentioned, Fall Chrysanthemum, Wicked Cherry, Simply Cranberry, Autumn Days, Autumn Pinecone, Scarlet Woods, Apple Cider Frosting, Woodland Trail, Woodland Amber, Midnight Moon, Peanut Butter & Raspberry Jam, Triple Berry Pie, Cranberry Pumpkin Cake. I'm burning Yankee's Crisp Campfire Apples from their Bonfire Collection in the original label in a large single wick jar. I like it. Others burned last month: Yankee's Pumpkin Farm, Warm Spices & Vanilla, White Pumpkin & Cinnamon, and Goose Creek's Patchouli Leaves in a large jar. Happy Burning.

Great haul! I'm so happy u like the candles! I broke myself n only ordered 1, the new Peanut Butter n Raspberry Jam candle because I luv a good peanut buttery candle, but it wasn't that good! It was all fruity Raspberry with no peanut butter! There was a couple others I wanted to try but I only got the 1 but I guess that was a good thing! It had a decent throw in my bedroom n I do like fruity scents, but I wanted that peanut butter so bad! I heard their coming out with some new Thanksgiving candles n I do kinda want to try 1 or 2 of those, but idk yet! Good luck with the burns n I hope they perform well for u! Great video n I enjoyed watching! 😊

Thanks so much for your reviews! I really enjoy the way you dissect the scent notes. Re the Patchouli & Teakwood candle -- it sounds like a very masculine candle. Would you say, then, that the overall fragrance is "cologne-y"?

No it is not! Unless you associate wine with masculine. The wood is robust but it reminds me of oak barrels that you would distill alcohol in. So the whole thing is just very intensely wine-like. The strong plum fruit dimension makes it VERY sweet over all, so I would say not OBVIOUSLY masculine and definitely not cologne. I don’t think anyone would want to smell like this 😂 Also, I’ve starting burning it, and I adore it. That said, the strong boozy note is not going to be for everyone. And if you prefer standard “cinnamon bun” fragrances it might not be for you 😉
