It is interesting to see the intensity of emotions displayed in these animals whom we consider lower consciousness than that of our own species. I love seeing self sacrifice when it comes to family, as even after he was told no he still made the decision to hurt himself and risked his life for the mother of his children. His energy can be felt throughout the video, intense. Not sure why things happened the way they did and since we did not study this family closely enough we may never know the story behind their relationship. Awareness regarding these animals' interpersonal lives is so important for us in order to relate to and make better decisions for them and ourselves.
