How does someone who speaks with improper English get to be a Harvard Professor? You need to listen closely to his use of the verb "is" . . . .

He is a theorist in postcolonial studies he came with many terms, he even criticized said's book Orientalism in a part where he minimizes the role of the resistant movements in inferior societies. Bhabha is considered to be one of the main scholars along side to (Edward said - Gayatri Spivak and Antonio Gramsci) concerning post-colonialism and postcolonial studies . All this and you have an issue in his using of the verb "is" you should keep in mind that Bhabha is originally from India.
