I do agree! I suppose the mind behind using non orthodox music, is the hopes that a non orthodox listener might feel like these readings are also for them. Because they are. Similarly, as a western Christian might walk into a Serbian Orthodox Church, they might have the impression “this is for the Serbians, not me”. Our senses can be overwhelmed if it’s too foreign 🤍I want everyone to feel comfortable listening to these. Orthodox chanting is striking, but it can be like meat to those who haven’t even tasted the milk. Thank you for listening ❤️God bless you.
