I'm privileged to be the first to watch this vid. Sean!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude!!!!! Your birds go straight to the loft. Now thats training!! Glad to hear you got a few more birds back. And what are the odds your mom would find a 🐦. You did good again. Congrats. Your birds going straight to the loft is testament to very competent training. And the increase in time is amazing. Oldtimers, I hope your paying attention. Sean your birds look amazing. Even better than last week if that's possible. They look strong, their eyes are bright, and their stance is near perfect. I've seen Fanciers with 10 yrs experience that don't come close to what I saw in this vid. And again I must say, bird after bird straight to the loft, that's crazy good. Newbies, this is what your aim should be. Bird after bird straight to the loft. Can't get any better than that. I know that if you flew this entire season, you would be at the top of those lists by the final race. No doubt about it.

Thanks Brian! It's so funny, that bird that my Mom found was the first bird back today. Just when I thought I was learning something about pigeon racing, a bird like that goes and surprises me. That bird was on Maui for two weeks. Too funny!

AlohaPigeons I'm not surprised. Think about seriously stocking that bird for next year breeding if it continues to perform like this. And breed the parents definitely. Beautiful job. Going up in rank on both lists is just as good as winning a race in my book. Especially with that 1st bird back. I hope some of my advice has helped you with these amazing results. I'm serious about what I said if you were to fly this entire season. You are a natural at this. A lot like how I was when I started.

Be prepared for bad results for the first couple of seasons and as your old birds breed after being on the system hopefully the yearlings will adapt ,always show the hen for the first season.good luck I had great success on this system if you need any advice I’m here

Good Job! Great results.. Loved the camera angle showing them hitting the board. I was gonna ask if any of the birds that were lost on the race before that you got back returned in this race, but I see the first one to the loft was the one your Mom found. What about the others? how did they fair?
@alohapigeons94406 жыл бұрын
The other 3 did not come back but one was found by a friend on that island so I rescued it for a second time. At that time it was amazing that the first bird back was the one that was missing the longest.
@ausfuhrpramienjagar6 жыл бұрын
He was just taking his time and finding the shortest route back to the loft. Which seemed to work the second time around... LOL

Some pigeons after seeing the places where other pigeons are flying, would fly to that area and land with those pigeons sitting on the telephone poles etc. they normally would return home shortly after, but if they are young birds, they would chase or follow the other birds into their own lofts. Those owners tend to keep them for their own breeding. I on the other hand don’t like pigeons that like to stray away and land with other pigeons. Those ones are not committed to their own home and I would rather they choose where they want to live. Good homing pigeons will always return their own home given that they have already aged and have flown around many times.

Absolutely, those are great words of wisdom in pigeon racing!
@xiongguysloft95606 жыл бұрын
Seems like there’s not much distance to race the birds from on the islands. Them birds that tend to get lost or are lagging are no good. They’re the type that lands when they see stray pigeons and become strays themselves. With my experience just loft flying, after some pigeons disappear after being chased away by hawks or falcons, they wound up at other people’s loft. Some pigeons just don’t like returning home, one time I had a pigeon that was given to me a local pigeon fancier that after several months the bird didn’t want to loft, After a few hours the bird disappeared. As I was driving on the highway under neath a bridge, there was road construction, I seen the pigeon there with all the other stray pigeons. lol. I was kinda shocked that the pigeon they gave me was a stray pigeon. It had returned to bridge it had once remembered.
