Heroes of Might and Magic IV is a turn-based strategy game developed by Gus Smedstad through New World Computing and published by the 3DO Company for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers in 2002. A Macintosh port was subsequently developed by Contraband Entertainment and released by the 3DO Company. The fourth installment of the popular Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, it is the sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic III, and was the last to be developed by New World Computing.

I cannot wait for other theories. Also quck note, in Gwent online there is a Golem card and when it is played it says "Do golems dream of magic sheep?" so that's just small reference to title of this video

Great content! Has anybody wondered why do units in HoMM 3 & 5 attack each other one after another in one turn in contrast to HoMM 4 simultaneously, excluding special abilities? By that unintentional approach the advantage goes to the first player's attack. Example: in a nightmare vs unicorn H4 scenario first strikes would be simultaneous, however, in H5 & H3 this function is not in effect.

I always see golem in MM universe as sculptured pile of some material that is able to move through mage's magic. It is similar to skeletons which are pile of bone able to move thanks to necromancer's magic. Golems and skeletons are soulless bodies, that's why you can't use ressurection spell on them and they only follow orders. Meanwhile gigants and tytans are huge statutes who has soul inside them. Because of that you can use ressurect spell on them which is a spell that brings back soul to its body. Probably gargoyles might be similar case as giants and titans.
